I absolutely love the brush applicator, it goes on smooth and it is actually water proof! I use lotion to remove rather than soap. Each time I've worn the mascara I've gotten huge black pigment of mascara under my eye by the end of the day. For some reason, the waterproof one is somewhat prone to clumping and is also very messy- it stays pretty wet for a while after application and often transfers to my eyelids, which is a pain to remove. Once it dries it lasts a long time and doesn't rub off easily or flake off, to it's credit.
