The nanothermic round brush line is now the only ceramic round brush I use on my clients. When combined with a quality turbo/ionic hairdryer, I have a very efficient and effective styling/drying time with all my clients. The handle and centered weight distribution is great for control and much more ergonomic to use than any other round brush I've used. Plus, the added textured bristles help smooth the hair so I VERY rarely go back in with a flat iron. ***CONSUMER BEWARE: Now, as much as I LOVE these brushes for myself and other stylists, I only recommend the brush for my clients after I've properly taught them how to hold and manipulate the brush (see product suggestions)
While this brush is very good it is also very dangerous. The top of the brush bows out and is plated in fake gold. This plating heats up within a minute of dryer and becomes very hot. When trying to brush hair underneath by the neck it brushes against the neck (barely) and burns. The burn so fast has lasted 4 days. Do not buy unless they fix the top.

Love the brush. Comfortable to hold.

Great for styling even thin hair. Created a lot of body especially at the crown. Very gentle on hair - was gliding thru it!

There is a reason these brushes are called "The Olive Garden of Brushes" by renowned master stylists in the industry. These plastic brushes are cheaply made with extremely scratchy bristles doing nothing beneficial for the hair leaving it frizzy and lifeless. I recommend NOT buying this brush, but purchasing a high end luxurious Ibiza boar bristle brush for salon quality results. Suggested alternate uses for Olivia Garden brushes: grill brush, toilet bowl cleaner.

The end gets SO hot and you can very easily burn yourself. The handle grips any loose hair that isn't in the brush which slows the whole process down. Have to stop, readjust and go again. I gave it two stars because if you don't burn yourself or get your hair gripped in the handle the brush works. I'm not willing to keep the brush though because I find those things extremely annoying.

Brush works very good styling bangs and adding tighter curls as you bow dry your hair.

I love this brush. I have fine hair. This brush helps me to get the styles that I want. It helps my hair to dry quickly and doesn't drag through my hair as I dry it.

This brush burnt my neck! I accidentally touched my neck with the tip of the brush and was burnt!

I Like the brush, does not get stuck in my wet hair. Very smooth blow drying.

I'd been using the same Conakry hairbrush for years and decided to try something better. This is awesome! The bristles are textured and it really helps pick up and grip the hair! Super smooth blowout! Totally worth the price!

love almost everything about this brush - except the handle. it's coated in a rubber finish which sometimes catches and pulls a strand or two of hair.

This brush helps to get my curls bone straight I'm no time. Little to no tugging and pulling, and literally glides like butter. Would 100% recommend for really curly hair.

The handle catches hair. It doesn't matter how it's sectioned or size of section. See attached photo

I generally need to replace my round brushes once every 1 to 2 years. My hair is waist length, thick, wavy, and frizzy. For everyone who is having problems with their hair wrapping around the handle? You're taking too wide of a section. Maybe their XL line would work better for you. I use my XL brush on days when I'm in a hurry. Most days I prefer these beauties. They keep my hair soft and silky smooth for a week between shampoos. I let my hair air dry to about 80% before I apply products (just heat protectant before and argan oil after use) and I've never experienced any of these problems. If you're trying to do a blowout on dripping wet hair, any brush is going to fight back. Remove the concentrator from your dryer and rough dry until your hair at least 70%+ dry, if you can't let it dry naturally while you do your make up, iron, have a cup of coffee... Honestly? I usually shower at night and then braid my damp (not sipping wet) hair. It's ready for products and a quick blowout in the morning. Mid-week, I sometimes do a quick blowout of just the top section if my hair to bring back some bounce and volume, it takes 5min and you don't even need to wet the hair. I'm a lifer when it comes to this brand.

My hairdresser has been using these Nanothermic Brushes by Olivia Garden for years so I started buying them as well and I am so thankful that Ulta carries them in stock. Recently I bought the 2 3/4" size as my hair is getting longer (just below shoulder length) and my smaller ones we're great when my hair was shorter. When blow drying my hair I absolutely love the way these Nanothermic Brushes leave your hair smooth and silky, no frizzing effects at all. I fought that for too long. I also use Olaplex Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave in Conditioner which all 3 products leaves my hair shiny, frizz free, and healthy. Thank you Nanothermic for your amazing brushes, I love them and highly recommend them!

So I do enjoy using this brush. It does create some nice big curls at the end of my hair. But I don't think the price matches the material. The brush is very light, there is no weight to the brush. The bristles do get bent. The handle is silicone. It creates beautiful work, but I don't think the price matches the quality.

This brush is amazing! It's large and handles easily. It leaves my hair static free. And looks great! I love it!!

I am no stranger to round brushes. I know to use them when my hair is 50% dry. This brush has the most sharp bristles I have ever felt. It is like someone just cut them and in turn, they are cutting me. Buyer beware is all I can say.

This brush has some great reviews. Had to replace my current barrel brush, this one was pricey but hey people love it so I'll splurge. The bristles are SO weak. If you have long and/or thick hair, this brush can't even hold onto it. Your hair will fall right out of it, especially while wet - which defeats the purpose? The handle is also a silicone-ish material and your dry strands will stick to it and wrap around it while you're trying to blow dry. Wish I could return it. This is the second and last chance I've given these Olivia Garden brand brushes. Not wasting my money again.

I use this brush to style my hair after shampoo & hair products used. Saved time on styling on my thick hair
