I fell in love with this lip liner a few years back, but finally branched out in colours and I'm so happy I did! Pale Pink is my go to colour for under almost all of my lipsticks on a regular basis. Not only does it help keep the lipstick in the lines(no running anywhere), but it also keeps my lipstick on through straws, food, and anything else that comes my way! The selection of colours is incredible and I love the consistency of the more matte ones! I'm not a big fan of the shiny ones(like Petal), but the matte ones are so creamy that sometimes I wear them alone!
I've bought NYX lip liners before and really liked them. Recently I bought purple rain, which is pictured as a light purple, almost lilac. I received it in the mail today and it is DARK. It is a dark fuchsia/magenta. I'm very disappointed.

This lip liner does not stay on at all. I can line my lips in the morning and it's completely gone by the time I leave the house.

My first lip liners, I've heard so many good things about this so I picked up "peekaboo neutral" and "natural" and they are so flattering to my natural lip color and skin tone! 10/10 definitely going to be a repurchase !

mauve has been my go-to color for a very long time. I am fair and cool toned, and this product is soo flattering. I tried citrine too but it was too pink for me. Still cute though

WHY would Nyx take something as perfect as " Natural " lipliner and epically F it up by making it cheap, chalky, and pink??? What a complete and utter disaster of a " reformulation"

i really like this liner, its long lasting and looks so natural!! only weird side is that when i bought it in store, the bottom end color does not match the liner when you apply it. i feel when applied, its a lot more pink than the mauve color on the end. other than that i love it :)

since the shade 'natural' changed due to presumably a formulation, i went crazy swatching other lipliners next to the original 'natural' shade by nyx and found the following to be the nearest:
Anastasia of Beverly Hills - Muted Mauve
Rare Beauty Kind Words Lip Liner - Worthy (Honest is similar too)
Natosha Denona I need a rose - NB1.5 Calla

Make up Forever Aqua Lip in 3C Medium Natural Beige

I really wanted to try another color of this lipliner as I loved my previous one but I'm very disappointed. I tried it on in the car, it broke but I thought maybe it's just because it's new, it wasn't. I sharpened it at home and it broke again… and again… and again. Sharpened it to the point it's about half the size it was and it kept breaking every time I put it to my lips. I'm very disappointed because my last one was amazing and creamy. Maybe it's a inconstant formula. I'm really hoping it is.

was obsessed with this in the shade natural for a nude but defined look. no natural is much more rosy rather than brownish. it doesn't have the same effect.

Nude beige was my go to color & recently ive noticed they changed the formula and color. The newer ones are made in mexico unlike the old forumla from germany, they are dry aswell as the shade nude beige being more pink. Needless to say it's unfortunately time for me to find a new brand to replace my favorite everyday lip liner , bummer !!

I cannot, for the life of me, understand how this is so hyped up. It SUCKS. Dry, extremely rough and super difficult to apply. It isn't creamy at all. The color isn't there because it is so difficult to apply. I've tried warming it up and it is STILL rough and doesn't blend.

These used to be my go to lip liners. I literally have 7-8 of them. I recenty repurchased two of my favorite shades Nutmeg and Mahogany but to my surprise the formula is so dry! I had to rub the liner so hard to get some pigment on to my lips. The older ones used to glide like butter! These new ones are so dry and hard and waxy. Then I noticed that the older ones are made in Germany and the newer ones are made in Mexico. I wish I could get that same creamy formula that would last all day long.

looks pretty and lasts long but gets very dry

For the price point, this lip liner is excellent. I would classify it as a pretty long-lasting product but can definitely fade a bit depending on what lipstick/lipgloss I'm wearing.
I will say I agree with some reviews that it is a bit drying but honestly, given how inexpensive it is I think it is a solid product.

i've always picked up this product ever since i started makeup. it's affordable and high quality! it applies so smoothly! the only bad fhing is it can wear off easily but you coukd expect that wifh many lip liners on rhe market.
