I have been using Conair's Compact Hairsetter rollers for more than 5 years. It could actually be closer to 10 years. They work GREAT with my hair which is fine, wavy to curly, depending on length. At this time my hair is long and extremely wavy. The way I use them is, the smallest rollers around my face - 1 for the bangs and 4 total on the left and right of my face. Then I use the largest rollers on the top of my head going directly down to the back and stop mid-section. Then I use 1 or 2 of the mediums to have more curl at the back-end, where my hair is longest (I want there to be more curl, rather than relaxed). I use the medium rollers on the rest of my hair, which rounds out my ends; works beautifully. When I remove the rollers I shake out for long curls or finger through for shorter prounced curls. Females of all ages compliment my curls and ask how do I style my hair. When a man compliments my hair I'm like, "really, thanks!", it's surprisingly nice. I read a comment, someone mentioned these take long to warm up, I've NEVER had that problem and they get EXTREMELY hot - OUCH! hot. Before I get in the shower I plug them in, or I can also plug them in right before I start to blow dry my hair - doesn't matter when, they are always ready, hot and easy to use. And the stainless steel clips are 110% better than the plastic butterfly clips. I leave them in anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes (depending on time constraint) while I tend to other tasks, which is great as I'm not standing in front of a mirror with a curling iron doing one strand at at time. I'd like to say I hope this review helps, but truth is everyones hair is different.
This product is adorable with beautiful shades of blue, but I thought that it took a long time to heat up. When I finally got all of my hair in the rollers, I thought they were a little heavy. Even though I had pretreated hair with curl cream, the hair just didn't keep the curl, though I think it may be because I have coarse, straight, long (mid-back) Asian hair. My mom has shorter hair, and these curlers would probably work better for her.

I bought these conair 20 roller setter about a month ago!! And love It! I had been wearing my hair long and simply pulled back in a pony tail!! I decided on the spur of a moment to cut my hair should length and I needed to do something with it rather than pull it back in a pony tail! Todah! Comes my suggestion from a friend that she simple had been using 8 conair rollers on her hair for years! So I thought I would look on conair web site and lo and behold there was exactly what I needed to give my hair a little bounce and a gentle curl!

Nice compact set with pins conveniently located. Curls come out nice shape and even however they don't last. I do have hair that doesn't hold curl well and the velvet rollers are only ones that do so far.

I have been using it not only for travel but at home too. It's very easy to pack and heats up quickly. So glad I bought it!

If you want tight kinky curls then this is the set for you. They made my hair have lines in it so bad that I had to re-wet my hair and blow dry it out and start over with a curling iron. I will be taking these back.

I bought this product hoping and praying that it would make my hair curl. My hair is very resistant to bending and I'm happy to say that these electric curlers actually curl my hair.

Love these!

This is by far the best hot roller set, and I highly recommend you buy this set. However, it would be great to provide more medium rollers for women with medium length hair.

If you're looking for big curlers, this isn't the product for you. The curlers are smaller and will produce very tight, vintage-looking curls. I have mid-back length hair and these curl my ends up to my collarbone. I can't figure out how they're supposed to be pinned in, so I just put the pin onto the middle of the curler and it works just fine. They heat up in about 10 minutes and are pretty hot to the touch. They cool off quickly so by the time I finish my entire head I can wait about 5-10 minutes and all of the curlers are cooled. I really love these more than I expected!!

I had a Conair set for many years. They were metal rollers covered in plastic, so they stayed hot. You could interchange the rollers on any rod. These are all plastic, so they don't retain heat, I'm disappointed in how cheaply made these are. I would rather pay more and get a well made product. I will be returning them.

I should've believed the reviews. And that the price was too good to be true! Returned and ordered Conair Infinity Pro hot rollers and they're a much better value! The rollers stay in the hair due to being flocked and are much better quality! The Conair compact hot rollers are just plastic with no heated core - you get what you pay for! Might work for some gals, but not for this one!

The rollers are a variety of sizes, which as first brush seems fine, but then the curls are not uniform. I really prefer a more consistent size curl. Also, the pins are difficult to put on and take off, so every time I attempt to use this product, my hair turns into a very frizzy (but voluminous) mess.

I had something similar to this a long time ago so assumed these would be the same thing . They barely stay hot and does nothing for my hair
Maggie from Pa
These barely got hot. Did nothing to my hair.

These work great on straight, fine hair. Only 4 stars because I don't like the clips. Conair ProClips work wonderful with this.
Beach Hair from Beaumont TX
These are the best hot rollers on the market. My hair feels almost like silk since I started using them.

I'm still an old fashioned gal using hot rollers. Heats up very quickly, works great!

Long thick naturally wavy hair from USA
Returned a roller set that was far more expensive, then purchased these. I have very thick naturally wavy/curly-ish hair. When I blow dry my hair and use these they work beautifully!

I have naturally curly hair and I enjoy using hot curlers to tame some of the curl in various spots around my face. This inexpensive set works exactly as I need.

I don't have anything bad to say about it. I'm always doing several things at once in the morning. When you use these rollers, you can put them in and do something else while they're curling your hair.

the product itself was not what I was lookin for. It took too long to heat up to use. There was another brand on the shelve. The store seemed to not have many options.

I did not really like this product. I have stick straight hair and the curlers did not stay in and they were very hard to actually get them to stay in my hair without falling out. Some pieces curled but most didn't. I was so excited for this product because I like having curly hair but personally was very disappointed. I would not recommend to someone with very straight hair.

This is a nice hot roller set for the price. Although the roller do get very hot!
