I was absolutely desperate when I found this product. It didn't mention frizz control, but I decided to give it a try anyway. It is perfect! After shampooing my hair, I lightly towel dry it, then I pour a little of the product in the palm of my hand and work it through my hair. A little goes a long way. I scrunch my hair and let it air dry. When my hair is almost dry, I finger comb it and I'm done. My curls are well-formed, and, above all, smooth. On days two and three, and sometimes four, I dampen my hair, scrunch, and finger comb, and it's perfect again. I had a great chat conversation on the website through the chat option about the best products for me, my curl type, etc.. This styling gel was one of the ones they suggested to me. They offered a discount code 'TRY20' but didn't mention it would expire. When I went to pay for all of the products I purchased, 1) my items were no longer in my cart, so I had to review my browsing history to try and retrace the items that had been suggested to me and 2) the discount code was no longer working. When I reached out to customer service inquiring about these two items, they were not as patient and willing to work with me. The reason I had waited a several days to complete my purchase was because I was waiting for payday. It didn't leave a very good taste in my mouth. The products are good, my hair seems to respond well, however the inconsistent customer service experience concerns me.Reviewed by 379 customersmy go to5KB from ILI've been using the VitalCurl shampoo, conditioner, and gel for a couple years and absolutely love it! it took some time to adapt my hair routine to find the results I was looking for. I have thick, curly hair and it can get very dry. For me, I need to make sure that my hair is pretty wet (not dripping wet though) and then I apply the gel both by running my hands through my hair and then also by scrunching my hair. I also sleep with a satin cap to help overnight. In the mornings I spray my hair with water and tame it with my hands and use a little more gel only on the ends. I love that the gel lasts so long and I only need to buy a bottle every couple of months. I constantly get compliments on my hair! It's got a runny texture, easy to work through hair. The scent is light, smells great (to me), and doesn't linger forever.
