A wand for the curling iron-impaired!I have long struggled to find a curling iron that is user friendly and gives me long-lasting curls on my long, fine hair because wands/traditional curling irons and I don't mix. I read many reviews online prior to making this purchase in-store, which was helpful and there were pictures up in-store on how I could expect my hair to look with this size barrel (I was originally going to select the 1.25 width). It took me about 30 minutes to curl my whole head and the curls relaxed just enough to look pretty and effortless. FYI: I sprayed my day old hair with dry shampoo before and finishing spray after. Also, I recommend that you manually spin the wand first to ensure no hair covers the clip, then engage the auto spin, which I did on the slow setting. This will allow for easy release after you are done with each hair section.Most Helpful Critical Reviewwrong orderI ordered 2 of these in November so they could get here in time for Christmas presents. I received 1 item and their explanation was "we sold out while you were ordering so we sent you our 1in curler instead" okay??? I'm not going to split this one curler in half for my two gifts?? now I'm not getting a response for my second curler and I'm unsure if it's even going to get here for Christmas or if I'm even getting it at all. This is definitely for long hair . It also takes longer than a regular curling iron. Very disappointed and since you can't send it back, I'm stuck with it.
