However, after using it for a couple of months, I do feel that it has helped even out my skin tone, brightened up my face, and helped diminish some of my hyperpigmentation. It hasn't gotten rid of all of my hyperpigmentation, but nothing has, so I may have to try something a little more drastic for some of the worse spots. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, but leaves it feeling soft and smooth, which I like quite a bit. I have sensitive skin that is easily irritated and have often gotten dry and itchy patches from products that are supposed to brighten my skin, so I'm glad to find something that works well without irritating my skin. Between this and the rest of my TULA skincare routine, my skin was looking WAY healthier and feeling WAY smoother within a week of use and that has not diminished over time at all. If you have uneven skin tone, dull skin, and mild hyperpigmentation, this one will probably be perfect for you!Most Helpful Critical ReviewGreat at illuminating; made me breakoutI bought this over a month ago, and used it daily for a month straight. Within the first few days, I noticed some increased radiance. Unfortunately however, my pores appeared larger, and I started breaking out! I stuck with it for a whole month to make sure there wasn't an "adjustment period" as there sometimes can be with new skincare on breakout prone skin... but the breakouts kept coming, and my large pores kept spreading. I know it had to be this product because when I stopped using it, my skin cleared up within a few days. Upon closer inspection of the ingredients, I saw dimethicone. A common ingredient to help give a smooth texture to skin... but can be potentially troublesome for breakout-prone skin (at least for me anyway). I have the same reaction to many primers & liquid foundations containing silicones. I do plan to try the hand cream next, and the probiotic supplements.
