I love most of the products and only use a few things from other lines. For over 10 years I have used Nars Laguna or Tarte's Amazonian Clay in Park Avenue Princess. For years yall! And I have been happy with them. So let me set the stage. I go to Ulta to get some bronzer (Tarte). I see this bronzer. I ran to Ulta looking a bit of a mess so decided to throw on a bit of this bronzer to beautify. First of all, it smells like the beach. It has a tiny hint of coconut and I was into it! Second of all, this looks natural. I mean for real. I look like I have been on the beach. Most bronzers will add some color and bronze you up, but I feel like it looks like a bronzer. Not in a bad way, but I don't often mistake someone's bronzer for a day at the beach. This stuff looks like a tan. Second of all, hours pass and it still looks good. It still looks natural. It didn't oxidize or turn streaky. So what do I do? I return to Ulta the next day and exchange the Tarte bronzer for this one. I haven't looked back. I absolutely LOVE this bronzer. I feel like it looks so perfect. It gives you a beachy glow. Now if you are looking to do some Kardashian style contouring I don't know if this would work because I don't apply it like that, but it probably would be fine. Last thing. I use a Clinique brush to apply. I have almost all IT brushes but for this stuff, I use the Clinique Foundation buff brush (Item 2299840). It was suggested to me by a store employee once for bronzer and I really love the control it gives me and it buffs out really well, too. For reference, in IT foundations I am a medium or now with the new colors added to the line, a medium tan. So there you have it. Buy this stuff, it is really great. I bought 4 just incase they discontinue it or something terrible.Most Helpful Critical ReviewAlgae Extract Means No PurchaseSo I wanted this bronzer so badly, but as with the rest of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Collection, this too contains Algae Extract. This is one of the most comedogenic ingredients. It is the one ingredient that breaks me out no matter how little is in the product. And it can also go by different names, but not for this bronzer- it says in the ingredients Algae Extract. I think this is usually used to add moisture, but I'm not sure why they would use an ingredient in an item for pores that will surely clog a lot of people's up! Very disappointing since this bronzer is absolutely beautiful.
