These dry out so fast you may as well accept the fact that you need to soak the tip in polish remover before you use it. I use Zoya nail polish remover in this and it takes polish off my skin/cuticle area without any issues. Once you swipe this around your nails, dunk it in more polish remover then wipe it on a folded up paper towel. You can keep using these over and over again if you clean the tips right after using them. It's a great system as long as you remember to re-wet the tips in nail polish remover before you start your mani/pedi. I take the lid off the polish remover, set lid in a ramekin, and pour polish remover into the lid/ramekin. Put dried pen tip into lid/ramekin and let it drink in the nail polish remover. It works.
My experience with most of the Ulta brand products I've used has been good, but this product literally did nothing. It's dry. I tried shaking the pen, pressing harder on the tip to try to soak it with nail polish remover, but all that came out was enough to just smudge the nail polish around. If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your money. Just do it the old fashioned way, a Qtip in nail polish remover.

Dry as a bone. If there is remover in it, it is stuck. It is worthless.

I purchased the pen 2 days ago and opened it this morning. It's totally dried out, useless. I usually have decent luck with products from Ulta, but not this time. Very disappointed

I am so impressed with this pen I tried on my regular nail polish it worked really well like magic but ofcourse its not and wont work for salon nails like (acrylic, gel or powder dipped). Great for traveling you dont need to carry nail polish remover bottle and pads and this make it more convinient! Loved it must buy again!

For me, this item didn't really work that well. I mean, it did take off a little tiny bit of the nail polish, but not much. It's just inadequate for me, overall. I would not buy this particular product again and I don't think I'll get much use out of it.

Probably the worst product from Ulta. Great idea/poor design and execution. The remover won't come out of the pen and the tips are only flat on one side....the rounded section is terrible/useless. I wish I could give this zero stars.

This is a necessary staple for my nail painting! I don't know how I've lived without it for so long, but I'm glad I don't have to anymore

The tips were all dried up and product wouldn't work. So upsetting.

I thought this pen would be moist on the end, it says vitamin oil on the package. I would have been better off to use my Q tips like I always do. This thing was dried up to the hilt! Not worth the money. Bad product

Couldn't get the product to even come through the tip after hours of it being tip down in my sink due to PRIOR hours of manipulation after getting out of package. Waste of money!

I bought this for my daughter and it works well. I like that there is minimal mess, because handing her the bottle of nail polish remover and some cotton balls is always a little scary. We have furniture scattered across the house with lacquer missing from used cotton balls sitting on them. No more worrying about that!

I wouldn't expect too much, but for little clean up areas, it's worked well so far.

When I need a quick fix to my nails, I'll take this little pen and correct any mistakes. It's great for getting into small areas and I love that I don't have to use cotton or tissue for clean up. This is a must for anyone who does their own nails.

I love this pen to remove an oops when doing my nails. I dip it in nail polish remover and mistakes are gone. It has extra tips so it lasts a long time. A good value!

It's an inexpensive option to help clean up the nails . I found it a little dry and I had to use a bit of pressure to clean up my cuticles but it worked and did the job .

Worked great at first but quickly dried out.

I gave this as a gift to my mother and she loved it. She said it's easy to use, and she has used it a couple of times already. I'm thinking of getting one for myself now.

This "pen" is so easy to use and comes with several tips, so it lasts a long time. I find it so easy to use for fingers and toes and completely erases any mistakes with polish getting on you where it shouldn't be. It is the size of a larger pen so it can easily fit into a purse or makeup bag. Excellent product!

This tool is the best way to remove polish from around the nails. This is all I have been using when I do my own nails at home.
