I bought this based off reviews, and I'm so glad I did! It really does sink into your skin leaving more of a moisturized feeling rather than greasy. Also, I have pretty sensitive skin so I was a bit worried this would break me out, but so far (after using a few weeks) I haven't experienced anything abnormal. The product itself is really runny so be careful when opening the tube. Finally, I would suggest keeping this as far away from your eyes as possible. My eyes water every now and then, and I think somehow it caused the lotion to get in my eye. It burned so much I had to take off all my makeup immediately and wash my face. Other than that, it's a great lotion and I highly recommend!
This product is legit caca. If you want to look like a cartoon u should buy it. I had bought this product at Ulta and wanted to use it for the first time. I have sensitive sun damaged skin, so I wanted to protect it from it rays. I was gonna be in the sun the next day so I bought it. The next morning I had evenly applied it for my long sunny day ahead.Throughout the day I had noticed that my skin kept getting tighter and flushed. I thought that I hadn't put enough sunscreen on and maybe I ended up getting sun burned. When I got home I just decided to give my skin a break and cleanse it off and leave it alone. The first thing I did was use my AMAZING micellar water that I have used for years. I knew something wasnt right when water made my face BURN. I kept telling myself that I was sunburned. I had only been out in the sun for a couple of hours in 70° heat. How could it be sunburn? So then I decided that my skin was just irritated and I decided to take a Benadryl before I went to bed...I woke up at 5 in the morning in PAIN. When I open my eyes I couldn't see clearly. I wiped them thinking maybe I had I boogers but when I stuck my finger on my eye, it sunk in like a well full of water. It was pitch black, my face was burning, and my eye was flowing like an underground busted water pipe. well folks the pictures say it all...I got up to look in the mirror and my face... looked...like...THAT. My eyes were swollen especially the right one. The whole right side of my face was filled with fluid. my skin burned like the pits of h e double hockey sticks. Needless to say I didn't go to school this day. I went to the er and they gave me a cup of liquid steroids to drink to get my body to stop attacking my face. BECAUSE WHATEVER T F IS IN IT IS TOXIC!!! anyways I had to be on oral steroids for a week all because of sum bum sunscreen. Thank you that is all

love this product but if you get it anywhere near your eyes it will burn for hours, washing them with water doesn't help, im currently on my couch, tears pouring from my eyes waiting for benedryl to kick in, only happens sometimes, but not worth it!

So far so good. There is no white cast and it goes on very well.

I have been using this for a couple of months now and im surprised at all the negative reviews. I have not once felt any burning in my eyes. Just maybe dont put it around your eyes ? I also have dry sensistive eczema prone skin and to me it feels very hydrating. I even use it under my makeup and have not had any problems. I will be repurchasing

I have always burned rather easily. I have always applied sunscreen before heading outside, but recently was convinced to wear it every day. I use a higher end sunscreen for day-to-day, mostly because I like the feel of it and thus I remember to apply it. However, I wanted something cheaper for when I'm headed out on walks, mowing, gardening, etc. I use Sun Bum products for that. It takes me 3 hours to mow my lawn. I need to apply sunscreen at least twice in that time, no matter the brand, or I burn. I use Sun Bum Face on my face before heading out. I never burn on my face, and it doesn't feel like I have sunscreen on at all. I have not experienced the eye stinging that others have. I've had such a good experience with this, I buy it for my kids too (all old enough to apply themselves) and none of them have had any stinging, or burned skin when using this.

I didnt get this product in my eyes, but after about 30 minutes one eye started getting irritated, then 30 min later the other eye, tried eyedrops, medicated eyedrops, my eyes swelled and were watering so much that i couldnt see and was in a lot of pain. had to take a makeup wipe to take it off, had to put my head under the sink to rise my eyes out, then eyedrops again and was fine.

I agree with others, it burned my eyes (and my husband's as well) so it's a big NO using this while swimming.

I have been loyal to this product for years, and will continue to do so. It has a great price point, it melts into the skin, it lays beautifully under make up, it moisturizes the skin, and of course, its very effective in protecting against the sun. My only criticism is it can sting if you get it in your eyes, just be careful when applying. While I feel for people that have had allergic reactions after using this product, there is a reason why you always patch test, people! Don't play around with your face/skin y'all!

I have very sensitive/ acne prone skin. This sunscreen works amazing for me. I had tried pretty much every sunscreen out there and I would always get a reaction or break out really bad. This really is the best face sunscreen. If you do get breakouts or clogged pores with this one I would really make sure you're getting all of it off of your face. I use Tony Moly Chok Chok cleansing water and than I wash my face and no issues. Please dont ever discontinue this!!

I avoided my eye area and it ran into my eyes or something. I also have sensitive skin and made my skin very red after a few days of use. By the end of the day my eyes were so tired and heavy from use. It is very run and it look and feels greasy on the face.

Im sure we've all seen the sunscreen TikToks and this one covered really well, so i bought it. I put it on and went about my day. About an hour later my left eye started watering and my left nostril started running. It just wouldnt stop. I live in Ohio and it's peak allergy season so I took some Claritin and it just wouldnt stop. By 9pm, about 9 hours after putting it on, I was constantly rubbing my eye and wiping my nose. I thought I just had a cold and decided to go to bed. I washed my face and did my night routine and went to bed and it all stopped. It was this stuff. I'll give it another try and maybe keep it farther away from my eyes and see how it goes, but if it happens again, I'll take it back. I really do like everything else about it.

I've been using this sunscreen for about 3 years now and it is by far my favorite. I struggle to find sunscreens that dont leave a whitecast and this product does just that. For context, I'm a Fitzpatrick 4 skin tone. The SPF 70 verison is way too sticky, this one is just the right balance of glowy but not greasy. Only negative is that sometimes it does burn my eyes, but it's kind of rare.

I really like this sunscreen. It applies well and absorbs quickly, leaving the same glowy shine I like from my moisturizers. It has a slight scent, but since there's no fragrance added, that only comes from the ingredients. Its not strong and doesn't bother me. I have light skin, but have not noticed a white cast. I was a little nervous since so many people reported their eyes burning, but I didn't notice any irritation. I will probably purchase one of the bigger bottles for better value, and keep this one for travel!

Loved this when it came out like 4 years ago, wore it for a 2 week outdoor vacation and my skin was well protected. Since then I've been trying other sunscreens but remembered how much I liked this so now I'm back. Too bad others had bad reviews on this, I personally loved it.

Burns my eyes if I get the sunscreen anywhere near it, is extremely greasy and rubs off easily and the texture is very runny

I've been using this for a while and I wanted to like it so much because it doesn't leave a white cast and that really is the only reason I'm leaving any stars. But this stuff BURNS your eyes if you accidentally rub them and you'll be tearing up for at least 10 minutes. No bueno. It also looks super greasy and unflattering, do not recommend this as an every day sunscreen.

I've been through two and a half tubes of this sunscreen. I liked everything that's listed on the front, and that it did not leave any white cast. The biggest problems for me was that 1) it constantly pulled throughout the day, no matter how well I rubbed it in or how well I had exfoliated the night before and that 2) if you get this in your eyes it is BAD. Really really bad. Your eyes will be red and crying for the next hour and a half. It was fine I suppose for the price, but I will be using the remaining half on my neck and be moving on to a different sunscreen.

I am going to return this because it pulls like crazy. I have tried rubbing it and tapping it on the skin and nothing works. It is super oily so if you have oily skin like me, this isn't for you. It has a horrible white cast and sits really bad under make up. However, it does protect my skin well, but that's the only pro I can think of.

do not buy this product

I love this lotion but it stings my eyes so bad I really can't wear it. I am bummed because it feels so nice on my dry, acne prone skin.. it also did not cause any breakouts.
K from Phoenix
Gave this a try and OMG is this just oil?? Made my eyes sting and face break out, if I touch my face my fingers look like I just dipped them in cooking oil. DO NOT BUY!

Only writing a review to say it does burn. No sweating on my face but somehow got in my eyes (probably because I used two layers) and stung so bad. I drove home from work with watering eyes the entire time with no relief even after flushing my eyes multiple times and cleansing my skin. I will use up but fully agree to use a mineral sunscreen around eyes first.

I'm allergic to the sun so it being such a high spf, I love it. I'm a woman of color and it doesn't leave a ugly white cast, that's the plus!
kinley from Texas
i thought that this product would be a great sunscreen for a day on the boat but... i woke up with my face and eyes completely swollen. i guess i had an allergic reaction because i have sensitive skin but i've never had one like this before... awful
