Other brands do not get your hair at the same level as this product. Doesn't just work for completely bleach-blonde hair; I have dirty blonde and brown balayage and it equally tones my whole head of hair.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot a lot of pigmentI have naturally gray/blonde, wavy hair. I have used other purple conditioners before, but needed one that was Curly Girl approved. This is, but that's about all that can be said for it. It has barely any pigment (especially in comparison to the Joico purple I used to use, which would actually stain the shower. This is the lightest gray/lavender in your palm), and it's glycerin heavy, which means it kills my waves when it's humid out. Spoiler: I live in the midwest, so it's often humid. The second was the smell! It smells amazing like a fruity tropical paradise. While I don't think it did a bunch other than conditioning I do think it pairs wonderfully with the shampoo. Like the shampoo, no foil, prone to spillage so be aware. Other than that scent,size is great and it works well with usage. I don't feel like the conditioner did much for my hair it was not moisturizing maybe it just sealed in whatever was tone from the shampoo but I honestly think you could either put toning drops in the conditioner to make it be more effective or just skip it all together that way you're still getting your hydration from your regular conditioner and adding toning drops to that.
