I purchased this product and the shampoo. I had contacted the company to try to get samples but they did not have samples so I decided to spend my money and try it. I am very pleased with both products. The shampoo has great moisturizing properties. I could run my fingers through my hair while shampooing, that never happens. This conditioner has great comb through and it immediately changed the texture of my ends which are always dry. I love the smell of the product also. I will be purchasing again.Most Helpful Critical ReviewDidn't Live up to the HypeI have tightly coiled Afro textured hair that needed hydration and some protein due to dryness and mild breakage. This product claims to deliver softness, HYDRATION, and "protein power" so I gave it a try. I used this on clarified hair so I could get a true read on how well this works. All it did was soften my hair a little bit. That was it. Actually, my hair had the same look and feel after rinsing this product out as it did after I rinsed out my instant conditioner...no difference. There was no enhancement in my coils either, a sign that a conditioner has truly hydrated my hair. Since I have low porosity hair I used heat w/ this because when I was applying it I noticed it wasn't soaking into my strands very well. After 35 min, I noticed that most of the product was still sitting on top of my hair. Next day, my hair is still breaking and barely moisturized. Don't know why everyone is "hyping" up this treatment because it was no more effective than a basic conditioner.
