Over the last several years I have been on a mission to find the best pressed matte powder and I have tried them ALL. This is definitely the best powder of the bunch. This was the first Flower Beauty product I have tried and I was excited to support a cruelty free drugstore brand. I have combination skin which can get crazy oily in the summer but still remains dry in areas like around my eyes and mouth and this powder keeps the oil at bay for way longer than I expected for the price point yet still sat nicely on my dry patches. I even wore this to a water/ amusement park and my face never looked better. The packaging made it easy to travel with (even though I am clumsy!) and was easy to reapply. The powder had no scent and I did apply this with a setting powder brush and it didn't feel heavy or settle into lines; in fact I think it blurred the look of my pores! I am quite pale so I'm not sure how translucent this actually appears but I can say it doesn't give any flash back in photos. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it lasts around 6-8 hours and would have to last more towards 10-12 hours, but that's just me being picky. If you have combo or oily skin you need this!Most Helpful Critical ReviewWanted to love thisSo, I purchase this item hoping it was really going to do the job in controlling my oily skin.... it's ehhhh I find myself constantly having to reapply in my t zones as if it was goi g out of style 🙄🙄🙄... and in the summer it's worse... I also stress sweat. This stuff does actually help keep my makeup on my face. I apply with a velvet sponge after my foundation before I set my entire face with my regular setting powder. I put it in places where i would normally sweat my makeup off entirely and it did help keep my makeup on my face throughout my shift. Its not 100% but it has helped a lot. It's lightweight, yet provides good coverage that lasts for hours! I've always been tormented with oily, combination skin, but this does the trick!
