My skin looks better after applying, even before any makeup. Makeup really does last better and look more fresh all day and it is very hydrating. It's winter in the Midwest US as I write this. It's very cold and the air is dry but this makes my skin feel less dry.Most Helpful Critical ReviewDoes the opposite of a primer for meI have to say first; that this primer is nice because it doesn't feel oily or silicone-y. It has a nice lightweight feel like you are just putting on a moisturizer. Unfortunately when I do use this primer; it lessens the longevity of my makeup. The light illusion foundation doesn't have much wear to begin with, so paired with this primer it's only good for a few solid hours. I have one fairly deep pore on my cheek, and this product greatly minimized it while making my surrounding skin look airbrushed. However, it made my skin red, blotchy, and tight feeling. I thought maybe it was a hydration issue, so I tried again with a more hydrating moisturizer, but the same thing happened. The second time, though, it left me with millia all over, and a painful zit I'm still dealing with over a week later. I gave it 2 stars for the blurring aspect.So light and creamy!
