I hate spending time in a salon and getting charged $35.00 to $55.00 every two weeks for gel polish. I keep my nails short due to my profession, so getting my nails done every two weeks is a must. This polish goes on some what smooth, some of the colors need two or three coats but I can deal with it since it drys almost immediately. The whole process took all of 1/2HR, I also let the color dry for about 5 mind before putting on the top coat. Will definitely be buying more!Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot gel-like or shinyI got the color neutral party, a beautiful greyish purple. While I love the color, The only thing gel-like about this polish is the fact that it is applies extremely thickly. Unlike gel polish, however, it dries much too quickly to level itself out, and you are left with a streaky mess. Even after thinning the polish with polish thinner (polish thinner and acetone are different, acetone is worse at thinning polish!) it was still streaky to apply. Also, contrary to its name "gel-shine", the polish dries to a finish somewhere between matte and shiny, like white out - definitely not shiny without a top coat. The color saves it for me, but I always get so frustrated during application.
