The application tip to apply the liner is thin so you can make a precise cat eye and I love it. Super pigmented and it does last. It doesn't droop with the heat and trust me I live in Texas so I have to wear makeup that last the heat. It's super affordable and I would definitely get it again. I used it because it was literally waterproof and smudge proof. I could swim or shower with it and it was stay put. When it was discontinued I bought this one with the same expectation, since it says it's 17 hour wear. Well it's NOT. The first time I wore this was to a funeral, I cried... and it came off. About a week later I was working out, started sweating and when I wiped my sweat it rubbed off. I feel like this is just like any other liquid eyeliners. It shouldn't tout 17 hour wear either. I have used the regular one of this in 'black matte', never waterproof. It glides on smooth maybe a bit too generously, so I have to dry it a bit before applying. It also has a felt tip, so there's a learning curve if you're not good at it, you can't just slap it on. I personally prefer the felt tip, it's easy for me to use. I don't think they should advertise 17hrs though, too be fair I never expected it to last 17 hrs like it says, even with their advertising (hence 4/5 stars) I think having such lofty expectations is foolish for a drug store brand like this.
