But to my surprise, the color turned out to be a beautiful soft matte black. The eyeliner was smooth and easy to apply. I have very oily skin and hooded eyelids, and the eyeliner smudged only a little at the corners of my eyes after several hours of errands today. In my book, this is a win because I almost always develop raccoon eyes with other natural eyeliners, which are often much more expensive. Overall good staying power, so I'm looking forward to buying more colors. It goes on smooth and not waxy or hard. My biggest issue with it is that it tends to run on me.
