And when I say weeping, I mean that active pimple you have been resisting the inevitable pop? Pop that pimple (clean hands, clean skin) then place the patch. Its goal is to draw pus into the patch - cant do that if the pimple hasn't been popped. These aren't going to work on cyst. These aren't going to work on blackheads. They DO work on ingrown hairs though. They are the bomb on POPPED whiteheads. So, here's whats up, you have a juicy pimple that you're dying to pop but don't want to risk digging in your nails and/or skin tool and you know you're going to pop it? Yeah, this patch is for you. Got a cyst or blackhead or pimple without a head? The COSRX patches come in a variety of sizes, which I don't really care about because most of my pimples are similarly sized. To get the most out of your patches, apply them after cleansing and drying your face. The pimple has to be white and juicy, like about to pop. I leave it on my face overnight or for 12+ hours and it does not budge (and I sleep with a blanket over my face!). It sucks out most of the pus of the pimple, but you might have to squeeze the rest out with clean hands or cleanse afterward. Another thing I don't like about the patches is that the edge you peel up first becomes bent and doesn't stick on your face. I feel that could be fixed by using tweezers but I don't have one. Lets just say im very dissatisfied. They don't stick very well, dont absorb as much debri from your pimples, thick, and almosy look like there are bubbles in the patch when you pull it off the strip. On both of those occasions I did my normal evening skin routine of washing, toner, serums, & moisturizer. I waited awhile while everything soaked in and before bed I put one of these little patches on my zit and went to sleep. The patch stayed in place and the next morning the zit was considerably improved. The first time it was gone by morning. I'm blemish free at a young 57 yo, but I recently got a giant blemish on my chin. I washed my face gently, and added this patch for at least 24 hours. It gently brings the gunk to the surface and removes it while keeping it protected, and it's invisible. The first time I used it, it seemed like magic it worked so well at removing all the gunk. This time, it brought it to the surface, and probably needed several more hours to fully release on its own. But the patch was expired, hence my recent repurchase of these at 21 Days of Beauty. I did end up helping things along on my own, gently toned it, added another patch in case anymore gunk needed to be expelled, then finally dabbed a bit of AHA on it. It healed nicely with a minimum of hyperpigmentation on my dark skin. Sometimes I'll dab a bit of centella ampoule as well for healing. Leave it to K beauty to come up with something so gentle and effective without being in any way drying. Having dry skin and blemishes is a tricky combo for me. But they've got you covered.
