Skin 'profile': aged, reaction prone/allergic, oily/dehydrated, with 2 medical skin conditions that this does not irritate. IMO, it is suitable for all skin types. Cosdna ingredients list is totally clean. If you want in depth info on this product, intragoogle it on Snow White and the Asian Pear, which fully tests/compares/ evaluates AB/KB products. Cleansers wash away, fact. The bha in this is not sufficient to exfoliate...but it does restore the acid mantle, so that the rest of the routine is most effective. Your exfoliation comes from the leave-on products, like Cosrx blackhead power liquid. (Available on Ulta.) This cleanses effectively without stripping, leaves no residue, and softens mildly. Its core benefit is as a phenomenal prep for other products. Cosrx tends to be consonant with 'Paula principles,' that is no irritating fragrance and no alcohol. The 'Good morning' does not mean it is only an AM cleanser, but you will wish to use micellar or oil cleanse for the m/u at night. Just received a 24 piece anniversary goody bag. None of the cleansers (Bliss, Badescue, Dermalogica) remotely compare to the Cosrx. Another key point is that the size lasts forever, so it is incredibly cost effective. If you are adventurous or easily bored with skincare, and want to be on to the next best thing, this may be too much product for you. My first tube was from Memebox, which Ulta is now partially representing, and I had to get the second tube elsewhere online...but Ulta listens (I have touted this product in other user reviews) and now carries this first rate and cost effective product. Thrilled that Ulta is expanding Cosrx. This will be a forever repurchase.
I was really excited to try this cleanser after I researched the ingredients, and I gave it the stars I did because of all the good ingredients, but I've found myself very disappointed with the result. When I used this for the first week, i found my skin feeling uncomfortable (a little bit stripped in a way that felt sticky, but when i touched my skin it felt soft and clean) until I used my toner. The next week I started to feel my skin getting drier and drier in my t zone, mainly on my cheeks near my nose and in between my eye brows. Most recently, when I used the cleanser before a clay mask, I had a severe reaction and those areas completely dried out. That made me decide to stop using the cleanser. This cleanser also lathers very intensely and at times is even foaming, which I didn't expect. I think this contributes to the drying and it makes washing the cleanser off very difficult. With more moisturizing cleansers I'm able to use a good amount and be able to wash it off just fine, but with this even when I used less pea sized amount it took me a very long time to get rid of all of the bubbles.

This cleanser works perfectly well. It isn't drying or irritating. I don't notice any remarkable benefits either but it leaves my skin feeling clean. It doesn't have any bad smell—if anything, I think it smells like 7Up or Sprite.

I really like the cleaning part of it but the smell is really bad. It smells like rubber or like a car tire. I hope they fix it. Thats the only issue i have with this.

I honestly really wanted to like this cleanser but man did it reallyyyy break me out. I literally have pimples in places I never have before. It also made my skin itch and just feel irritated. It literally looks like I have a rash on my face and some pimples even look like welts… it's embarrassing. Totally messed up my skin :( It's a hard no for me.

This cleanser saved my skin almost immediately, after a bad experience with mixing rentinol & other actives. My skin was extremely dry and patchy with chemical burn. I immediately switch my cleanser and seen results within first use. Has now been my go to and I will not be going back.

Upon first using this i could not believe how strong the scent was. Stung my face when i used it and caused my face to look so red i looked like a tomato. No thanks. Will be returning.

Started using this product about a month ago and I'm very impressed. I have very sensitive, combination skin and I struggle with finding a good cleanser. This cleanser leaves my skin bright, refreshed, and clean and provides a cool soothing feeling while cleansing. The only thing I dislike about this product would be the smell.

i love this cleanser. it didn't dry out my skin, which is what usually happens. it also didn't cause any redness or pain, as i've had happen with some cleansers. some people said it smelled bad, but it was just tea tree oil which i think smells good. overall it was very soothing and i will definitely be incorporating it into my routine.

Thus Cleanser has been great, non drying even for winter and my cystic acne has improved since starting it, don't know if it's because of the wash but I don't have any complaints

This is my first day using it so my review is definetly not accurate. It has a floor cleaner strong smell that I hate. Also, its hard to wash off your eyebrow area? (Don't know why.) Otherwise this cleanser seems good. My skin seems brighter.

Paired with the right moisturizer/highlighter = nice dewy skin. I get a lot of compliments now

Beware if you have hormonal, cystic, oily/combo/very sensitive skin. Absolutely ruined the progress that was established. Caused my face to be in so much pain and cystic acne to develop. Never dealt w/ white heads before until starting this. Only used it 5 days and was the worst face wash I've ever used in my life

I have been using this for a month now and I have noticed my skin feels a lot cleaner and softer. The smell is a bit strong for my personal preferences but besides that I highly recommend

This cleanser is gentle and so refreshing! Great for mornings especially as it gives you a crisp happy wake up call. This cleanser is great for sensitive skin and for those using heavy products like retinol or tret. I keep this cleanser on rotation for when I need a pretty wake me up.

I've only been using this for a week, but I can see and feel a difference! I was looking for a face wash with some extra oomph because my skin needs some more TLC. I also didn't want something so harsh. I use it morning and night, and the second I used it I noticed my face was feeling smoother. Would recommend!!

I love how my skin is with this cleanser. I have been using it for around 10 years and usually repurchase every 5-6 months. I love how it works with my senistive, acne prone skin. This cleanser doesn't foam up a bunch. I find it is less stripping and more gentle on the skin. It cleanses well. It will remove minor face makeup but not mascara or a full face. I would recommend using a micellar water or a balm to remove heavy makeup first, but occasionally I forget and use it after and that works too. Tl;dr: A++ cleanser, good for acne prone skin, and if I didn't have it I would cry

I have sensitive skin and saw this was being recommended for oily sensitive skin but it gave me so many tiny white heads on my cheeks and made my face itch!

I used this twice and had a severe reaction to the fragrance each time. The cleanser itself worked well and left my skin soft, but I will be returning because the fragrance is too much to my skin. If you have sensitive skin - avoid this. If you don't, this will probably work for you.

When I first purchased this product I had terrible redness and wanted something calm to for my sensitive skin. I did try the dermalogica calm water gel first - which made my skin redness worse. I use this morning and evening and have bought at least 6 tubes. My skin loves it and I love the ingredients. I won't use anything else. Normal/Oily t-zone. Hormonal/Cystic Acne. Dehydrated/Sensitive skin.

Does what it is supposed to without stripping the skin but just be careful when you get it near your eyes. It's a given that any soap will burn your eyes but I know some cleansers get into your eye easier than others sometimes. This is one of them.

It's very good cleanser, i loveeeeee for my routine skincare

I use this every day, twice a day. I have never noticed a weird smell or strong smell. I've been using this for years now. My skin is super oily and this leaves me feeling normal and clean. It foams up very nicely and does not strip my skin after washing. I hope this works as well for you as it did for me!

I love this cleanser! I've been using it for a couple weeks and it's been very refreshing. The only thing I want to mention is that my skin does feel a little dry/tight after using it, buts it's not a problem after I moisturize. It also has a scent, not super strong, but still noticeable. I personally like it but it might bother some people.

I've used a range of foam cleansers over the last 5 years and they tend to dry my out. This cleanser goes from gel to foam and is super gentle on the skin. It doesn't give me tight skin after. A little bit goes a long way, too. I use it in the night and sometimes in the morning. This is now a staple in my routine.

I love this cleanser. It worked very well for me and my very sensitive/oily skin. I liked the texture and how it smelled, it felt very fresh and the product worked well. It helped reduce my mask acne. I definitely recommend it!
