I absolutely love this foundation and switched from Kat Von D's line to this. It's a better color match, blends well, doesn't cause breakouts, sensitive enough to go over existing breakouts, dries matte and does not shoe pores when a powder is baked on. Hands down the best and will continue to purchase. Only thing is shake this bottle like no tomorrow before each use. The product separates and you're left with an oily product on your face. So shake it!
I think this was a good product, it was just too drying for my skin at this time. I have sensitive, acne prone skin that is on actives that make it prone to dryness and peeling, and I live in a climate with dry weather especially in the winter. This product is extremely pigmented. I mixed a drop in my SPF or moisturizer and my face had quite a bit of coverage, and used alone, it had the coverage of a concealer. The finish is quite matte which I know a lot of people like, but I prefer a dewy and radiant look, and while mixing with something with more radiance helped, it made my skin feel tight and dry as the the day wore on, even with a moisturizer. I had a little trouble color matching, the colors were all a little too pink or orange for my more yellow NC25 undertones but 35w was a decent match. It wasn't a bad product at all but it just didn't fit my foundation needs so I ended up returning it. I would still recommend it to someone with oilier skin who likes a matte finish.

I love this foundation! It is full coverage, which I need, and applies very creamy and smooth. It's not heavy at all. I give it 5 stars! Love this!

Longtime dermablend fans used to essentially getting war paint will not love this. Marketed as only needing a drop or two for full coverage is a stretch. Getting the drop or two out of the bottle is even more difficult. Could only get a couple uses out of it before it stopped coming out of the bottle. Formula seems too thick for packaging maybe.

Ive been using this foundation since 2017. I love it. Its lightweight and full coverage. It is very easy to work with. I set mine with powder and setting spray and it generally last a long time. I use to wear this while serving on a patio in the of summer in Baton Rouge. It works. Its good.

I'm 60 years old and have sun spots. I've been using Dermablend for many years. The coverage is great and there are many shades to chose from, it doesn't fee heavy on your skin. I hate the bottle though, wish they would redesign it.

I love this foundation, it covers really well and it's not heavy on my skin. I use 37N as my foundation, and it applies really nice. Will purchase again. I can't believe the negative reviews.

No oil foundation, is the best! Thin texture spreads light and easy, on the skin. Colors are nice also.

This is an incredibly versatile foundation concentrate that can be used in conjunction with lots of skincare products for amazing coverage. I don't really even think of it as a foundation because the formula is so thin and minimal. You have to use it like an artist would use pure pigment, and mix it with a carrier or blend it out with tools. The shade is a near perfect color match for me, and one drop literally covers everything. Ive never found anything that covers so well. Because it is an oil-free forumula, the finish is completely matte. It has taken some experimenting to find the best way to work with it, which is why I took off one star - there is a learning curve. So far my favorite way to use it is as supplemental coverage over a dewy tinted moisturizer. I mix a half drop with a drop of moisturizer, and tap it sparingly on areas where I need actual coverage - it is superior to any spot concealer ive ever used. Then I blend with a brush and use a beauty sponge to finish. So it's definitely more labor intensive but 100% worth it for when want complete coverage with no extra weight.

I have very dry skin and still enjoy this. I believe normal and oily skin types would love this, but if youre a dry skin girly just prep your skin well before using. It has wonderful coverage and feels extremely lightweight, it doesnt feel like im wearing a heavy foundation at all. Doesnt look dry and cakey on me personally after wearing it all day. Big downside is the applicator/finding an exact shade.

I love this foundation. The color is spot on . The coverage is what i was looking for. Its great coverage but doesnt feel like im wearing a tone of makeup. The only thing I don't like is the dropper does not work and they are kut if this color at the store so I cannot return for another one unfortunately.

I breakout to everything but this. I have been looking for something like this for years. Definitely mix it with a moisturizing sunscreen or your dewiest moisturizer. It takes some trial and error but it's so worth it. Pumped this is avail and THANK YOU

After reading all the reviews my eyes could take i defide to try this foundation and wow!! Seriously wow!! A tiny amount covers your entire face. My only wish is that they do a better selection of colors. Im a medium olive skin and I tend to blend better with neutrals but I can also use Warms. In this one i use a 40n bc the next up is 43 w and thats too dark. I recommend definitely checking them out, I do my makeup at 6:30am and wash it off around 9pm and nay face still looks great!!

This foundations is more for oily skin as it is super mattifying on the skin. My face felt really dry and the foundation was cracking on the creases on my face. Also color did not match me and bought 3 different colors to try and find the perfect match and I did not succeed.

I like the foundation because the color match is spot on for me, which is very rare. However, it settles in my creases and can be a little drying. It does blend well.

I've been a dermablend fan for well over 10 years. I started using their Smooth Liquid Camo Hydrating Foundation as well as Estee Lauder's Maximum Cover Camouflage Foundation in my early 20s when I struggled with severe ance scarring. After the scarring faded, I started to use foundations with less coverage and eventually stopping wearing makeup all together, but when I recently switched from a warehouse job to an office job I wanted to appear more 'put together' so I've been on the hunt to find something that is light weight, with decent coverage and most importantly will STAY ALL DAY, but not accentuate pores and wrinkles. I purchased this during the 21 days sale. It is hands down, the best sales event purchase I made. Period! For me personally, this foundation is THE ONE. It checks every box I wanted out of a foundation, and plus some. It's glides one silky and smooth, the color match is phenomenal, and it's got just the right amount of coverage without being cakey. I know many complained about the bottle, but for me it's one of the best things about the product. In the past I've experienced a lot of wasted product due to the bottle being impossible to open (Estee Lauder hydra). Or discovering upon delivery you must purchase the pump separately, resulting in quite a few spills because of my defiant refusal to spend more money.(Estee Lauder Double Wear SIP) I love the fact that I can touch my face, or lightly blow my nose without the fear of my makeup rubbing off. It leaves a lovely matte finish that doesn't dry out ,clump up or flake off. It's important to note, as with all cosmetics, proper application using the proper tools is essential to achieving the advertised results. I use urban decay all-nighter primer and found that I only really need to use a setting powder/spray during the middle summer. I even tested how well it mixed with other products for winter when my skin becomes slightly dried out, and obviously it exceeded my expectations: mixes effortlessly, without affecting the pigmentation or causing any degree of oxidation. Sorry for such a lengthy review, but when a product truly impresses me, I GOTTA tell it !

I am so glad I didnt pay full price for this rubbish. I've tried mixing it with multiple skincare products, primers, by itself, etc and I can honestly say I have never hated a product more. I have pretty banging skin, but after applying this in any way, my skin looks like trash. It picks up every tiny litte flaw and magnifies it by x100.

3 drops is all I used and didn't add anything to it, and it went on so smooth. It looks flawless and like I'm not even wearing found. Not too matte nor shiny Color match on Ulta was totally off so I ended up with 4 colors before getting right one. These companies need have samples to try. It irritates me that everyone wants sell online but doesn't make it convenient to have a way to try to sample colors

I would give this five stars for coverage, color match, versatility and wear. I subtracted one star because it takes some practice to apply properly. I think of it less as a foundation and more of a concentrated pigment. It's a light, oil-free liquid so the finish is quite matte. It mixes well with skin care and moisturizers so it's fun experimenting with custom blends. The standout feature for me is the excellent coverage in a very light texture. I love using it to add spot coverage in areas my tinted moisturizer isn't quite enough. It blends beautifully and gives that extra coverage without adding a heavy layer of makeup. I've found I pretty much need to apply it with a brush, and my skin needs to be prepped with serum/moisturizer/primer if I'm going to wear it like a regular foundation. Because it's so liquid and pigmented, it can be hard to get a smooth, even application and it can highlight dry patches and texture if you don't have a good primed base. So it takes some tools and techniques but it's a great addition to my makeup kit.

I first picked up this foundation about 3 years ago on sale. It's has good clean ingredients, and nothing that should clash with my very sensitive and acne prone skin. So I gave it a shot! And I was so very glad I did! I would say it's a very very true full coverage, makeup artist/ creator, customizable pure pigment foundation. The first time I used it I really over applied, not being used to anything possibly so high coverage. But that was ok, and I just learned that amount would give you a FULL BEAT look. The next time I just went with a bout 2 drops, and I found that even that still gave me complete full coverage all over my entire face. The next time, I went in with 1 drop for the entire face, blended well, and then went in with a tiny bit more under the eyes instead of added concealer product. THIS WORKED PERFECT for me personally. Then I found trying it with prep products wasn't necessary for me at all. The pure control you have over the product blending so easily, when you apply it to bare skin, is just fantastic! If I need more moisture, I can apply with with sone setting spray on a sponge. But normally I prefer to apply it with a face brush, and just buff all over the place. Starting in the center and working outwards, is a great technique for me and this product. I would say that if you just judge this foundation as a stand-alone product, the finish will give you a true matte, true full coverage, that totally dries down, and is sort of glued there until you want to remove it. If you go in with just 1-3 drops, it doesn't look cakey. But more than that… yah girl… that's just too much, and the finish will be bad. I prefer to do the foundation alone, extra under my eyes and no concealer, then some powder blush and bronzer, usually I use Hourglass, and then a medium amount of setting spray to moisturize it all in, melt it together, and freeze it in place. I used about 6 different setting sprays, and all of them have been perfectly compatible with this foundation. The Hourglass finishing powders have been fantastic in making this very flat full coverage foundation, come to life with the micro sheens in HG products. I bought another darker shade in the summer, when we needed family photos. And I would say that I made the mistake of doubling my drops applied, thinking the fuller coverage was necessary for the photos. It made me look cakey, and way over done. But again with the HG products… the pictures actually turned out making me look like a perfect plastic mannequin doll! 😂😂😂 Which absolutely wasn't my intention, and I won't be doing that again. But hey, I learned from it! And maybe you sometimes want to look like a plastic mannequin doll! Maybe that's your exact vibe and goal! So maybe this is exactly what you should do! 😂 But me personally, I will stick to less than 2 drops for the entire face, which gives that full coverage, but doesn't start stepping into cakey. I would add, that I don't prefer to mix it with products before applying. I get better result applying it pure on its own, and the blend and control is super fast that way. Then I add extra on top for whatever my skincare needs are that day. I've never had this foundation budge at all before I went to remove it at night. No cracking, no separating, no freak oil slicks, no freak clinging to dry patches, literally nothing weird! It stays like a face painted mask until I chose to wash it off! I am oily / combo/ with occasional dry patches. Very sensitive skin, very acne prone. 33 y/o mother and wife.
