Two days after my first application I had to exfoliate my skin because it was peeling..but the result underneath took my breath away. I am 20 yrs old and suffered from severe cystic acne for 3 years. I have very deep holes in my face (big and small) from the acne scaring. I have tried everything to make them smaller or appear better. This has been my biggest insecurity for years. Today I looked in the mirror and they are significantly smaller to the point where they just look like slightly bigger pores. I can't believe it. I feel confident and my normal break outs are healing better as well. I purchased the retinol serum as a special treat for myself. I was very careful when first using it, following directions, only using it once the first week. My skin was quite red and blotchy this first time. So, I waited a full week before using it again. Same result. I even tried using the moisturizer as suggested. What a disaster. My face looked like I had been badly burned. I consulted my esthetician. She recommended I hold off using the retinol till warmer weather. After using it again this week, the same redness, blotchy mess happened again.
