It is rich, nourishing, and removes the few knots I get in my hair after using the Gentle Shampoo. The consistency of the Rich Conditioner is thicker than the Thickening Conditioner or the Color Conditioner which is whipped. I was a little worried that this conditioner would be too thick for me, but I find that a little goes a long way and that it spreads nicely throughout my hair. It smells like a lighter version of the Thickening Shampoo. Following the Gentle Shampoo, I put this conditioner of the back of my head and work the product down my hair and up through my bangs using my fingers as a comb. This way, the product spreads nicely without getting too concentrated. It rinses well but I do take a little more time since it is so thick. I like using the Gentle Line when I want to mix it up but I do prefer the Seaweed Shampoo paired with the Thickening Conditioner to this line. This is just my preference. However, I do suggest getting the liter sizes for any of the shampoos and conditioner because they last much longer and look so nice in the bathroom.Most Helpful Critical ReviewDry/tangly hairI was recommended the Super Rich conditioner for my dehydrated, dry, tangly hair, along with the Seaweed Shampoo for my oily roots, and the quenching masque for a once a week deep treatment. The super rich conditioner has really done absolutely nothing for my tangles. I am not sure I see results for more hydration and moisture in my hair. My hair seems straighter, less frizzy, smoother, but not yet softer. I have washed my hair with this every other day for 2 weeks, so I am not sure how long it will take to start seeing better results. When I glide it through my hair in the shower it seems to soak into my hair so quickly that I can still feel my dry hair. It is hard to explain. Before my hair became so dry I would put conditioner in my hair and it would glide on tip and be smooth and soft, but since my hair has become dry it seems to soak into my hair and I don't have that same smooth conditioner feel when putting it in my hair. I hope that makes sense. I don't think that this product should be recommended for tangles. They have no discontinued providing pumps for the liter sizes. This is a dealbreaker. I am young but have psoriatic arthritis. And the bottles are heavy and NOT well made for squeezing out product. I contacted customer service and they said their bottles have been redone so they no don't need pumps. But if I want, I can purchase pumps. Incorrect. So I will probably seek out new products. Otherwise product is great for all hair types. I have long wavy/curly hair and have tried the BB Curly line and it made my hair tangle like straw. This stuff leaves it smooth and soft and waves and curls are prominent without a lot of frizz. I air dry hair. Everything looks great , if I run a brush through hair later in the day, I have to spray some water on to ( strangely ) de-frizz and put hair back into nice wave and curls.
