It's super soft, picks up powder easily, dense enough to blend perfectly, and the oval shape fits perfectly on my face for contouring. I like that I can hold it one way for cheek contour and another way for chin/jaw. I previously had been using an in-house brand brush from S---a that was discontinued awhile back. Wow, this is a great quality brush, grabs product well and applies well. I have used this with high end and drugstore bronzers as well as contour powders and it applies and blends amazingly. Because of the shape of the brush, it is great for my cheek contour and sides of my face. I have used it on my nose before, but it is a bit too large for that. I have also used this for highlighter, but I like a glowy look so I usually use a larger fluffy brush for that. The bristles are very compact and I have had zero issues with it. It loses one star because the handle is quite bulky, but I would have no issue bringing this with me when I travel. Definitely recommend.
