Very light weight and smooth in texture.it gives u a radiant look like you have healthy skin.but the color of this foundation is way different from other Mac's foundations.i wear nc15 or nw13 in studio fix fluid.i got this in nc15(I was gonna give this to my friend as a gift but the deli every day was way passed her birthday!!:/)I thought I would give it a try so I didn't return it.nc15 in this foundation has more pinker tone to it,and less yellow,it's more like a neutral tone,shade wise it's lighter then studio fix nc15.i suggest if u have a shop nearby you should definitely go get color match.or you can order two colors and see which one fits u better. there are couple things I would like to point out as in my experience. First of all I suggest you to use a dense flat top buffing brush,not any sponge,cos it will soak up the product and unnecessarily sheer out your foundation more.i have 196 brush as well as other dense buffing brush,them both work fine.but 196 does a great job.you dot foundation on your most problematic area turn use dabbing motion to apply the foundation,then blend out along jaw line,it's perfect. If you have dry skin,moisturize your skin well as you usually do,then use a dense flat top foundation buffing brush dab and use a patting motion to put on foundation evenly.you can skip the primer if you moisturize your dry skin enough.if u use a luminous setting powder it will help you hold up better,not don't use mattifying powder if you don't want to lose the dewiness. For oily skin,I suggest you put on your regular moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated,then apply matte primer before you apply this foundation,if you like the dewiness that this foundation offers,u can use a luminous powder to set,so u will still have matte face in touch and dewiness in look.you might have to use powder to set especially if you have oily nose and t zone area,cos the foundation will break down in few hours around your nose. Overall this is a great foundation that is comfortable to wear,you can feel you skin very soft and u can feel your skin can breath .mineralize skin finish powder is great to pair with this foundation. Btw if you apply prep and prime skin primer or strobe cream under this foundation it will make u look like if you have a super greasy face,especially with the prep and prime.
I went to a local makeup store that has a mac counter called Douglas. There I was just looking for my mac shade reference. I thought I'd also buy the Studio Fix Fluid, since its so raved about. When I asked the woman who was working there to shade match me, she did so, and she was a very nice lady. She recommended this foundation rather than the Studio Fix, because she said it can accentuate any dry patches. Although I have combination skin, I still want to steer clear from something that will accentuate something I don't want. So I decided to try it. So the next day, I tried it on. When my 10 year old daughter saw me, she said "Mom what happened to your skin? It looks horrible!" Now, she didn't know I was wearing a new foundation. And she's 10! It accentuated my fine lines around my eyes so badly, went into my creases. It also made my skin weirdly bumpy, when it really isn't. I am 31 years old, have fairly good skin regarding wrinkles, and have no pimples. This was making my face look so texturized! It claims that it's lightweight, my face felt like I had pounds of makeup on, although that was not the case! Overall I am extremely disappointed by this product and I returned it. I love Mac lipsticks, and their bronzer (Mineralized Skin Finish in Give me Sun), it's great!! I love it!! So it's not that I don't like Mac products. I love their blushes as well!! But this foundation just didn't do it right!!

I love the Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation, but this dropper packaging is really inconvenient. My hand tends to shake a lot, and the product ends up dripping everywhere, especially when trying to put the applicator back into the bottle. Have you considered changing the packaging? I also think about consumers with significant motor difficulties. Thank you!

My go to foundation, no matter the occasion. Im very probe to acne and have sensitive skin. Ive never gad any issues with this foundation. It actually does a great job helping to cover my dark acne scars, which surprised me with a lot coverage foundation

Honestly, i dont know why the MAC girl reccommended this to me over face & body. Its so terrible, the first day I applied it no issues what so ever. I've used this a total of three times and the two twices ive lastly used it I had to remove it twice right away. It left my skin looking scaly and dry with the oil residue this foundation left. This is really really bad, I have oily skin and i exfoliated before this product and i apply super hydrating moisturizers and serums eventhough im oily and any other foundation i try doesnt give me an issue. I have noticed that any liquidy foundation like this is what causes me to look so bad and these are a no go for me at all. I will be trying face and body hopefully that one works for me instead of this one.

I loved the weight and finish of this foundation, and had been hoping it was similar to Face and Body -- but it's honestly kind of a mess. It was streaky and hard to apply with sponge and fingers both.

Finish is gorgeous. Blends well. Love SPF protection. Great for my acne prone sensitive combo skin with some rosacea. Would love it more without the soy protein and chemical sunscreen but its beautiful on my skin.

Thisnis perfect for my dry normal skin. I stopped trying to shop for a tinted moisturizer because the shades were never right. I blend one tiny drop of this with dior skin pink bottle primer (forgot the name) and its the perfect tiny bit tinted moisturizer

Omg!!! This foundation is amazing. I even have oily skin and it covers perfectly and you skin looks so real. I previously worked for MAC but still after four years wear this daily. Just buff it into the skin and BAM airbrushed to a T. Please DO NOT discontinue this. This really can work for all skins if you set it right. I just spray a little Setting spray like the 24 hour spray and I get nothing but compliments all day and through the night. If you are wondering have any artist try it in you or request a sample.

This is an excellent option in coverage between the Studio Fix and the Face and body. It is light weight and buildable. Makes my skin look good and even. It doesn't sit in my undereye wrinkles as much. Easy to apply and blend. I only regret that it transfers and doesn't last all day. But overall a fantastic foundation for every day. I love it!

I've spent some time with the makeup artist at Mueller in Germany and she was applying this same foundation on my face. I couldn't see what exactly she was doing and how much of the product she put on my face, but she managed to sell me this product because it looked alright back in the store. However, after two hours most of the foundation was gone from my face. On the next day, I applied it myself and the result was far from the one I got at the shop. The foundation has 0 coverage. My Missha bb cream does a much better job than this foundation and it stays much longer on my face. Also, I have sensitive and dry skin and therefore I apply serums and face cream underneath the foundation. The foundation doesn't go well with other dry skin products and stays uneven on the face. Don't buy this product if you are looking for a normal foundation. If you want some bb cream light coverage effect maybe go for it, but test it before that somewhere and don't jump to buy it right away!!!

I wanted to like this, because it does sit on the skin nicely. I wanted something that wouldn't settle into fine lines, and this is better for that than Studio Fix Fluid, which was my old go-to. The problem is that it wipes off so, so easily. Even with a primer and setting spray, if you put on sunglasses or wear a mask, even for a moment, your foundation will be gone. With Studio Fix, if my sunglasses leave a mark, I can kind of tap with my finger tips and blend it back in, but with Waterweight, there are just clearly missing spots of foundation. The color is also inconsistent. NW13 in Waterweight is a totally different color than NW13 in Studio Fix. Pretty disappointing overall.

Love this foundation. It works great for me on those days when I just want a hint of color. I have it in different shades and I love them equally. I will definitely continue to purchase it. I have gotten others to try it and they loved it too.

Studio Waterweight SPF 30 foundation. This product works well. It feels great and moisturizes. I love it on days when I just want to be natural and not made up (most days lateley). However, the delivery stinks. The glass bottle is not portable. and the dropper is completely inconvenient and messy. It would be fantastic if this came in a tube applicator.

This foundation is light enough, moisturising enough that I can get light coverage without any discomfort. My skin looks like skin. It lasts on my skin for about 5 hours without using fix. It doesn't crease. Where as, Body and face DOES crease on my skin after a couple of hours of wear (too dewy for me). I can only wear the thinest moisturiser/foundation/sunscreen or my skin will just start to sparkle in tiny beads of sweat within a few mins of application. I have mild roseaca too. This product is discontinued in Australia - I've not found anything similar to date. I'm very sad it's gone!

I tried to give this one a try I usually go with another foundation but I wanted to give this one a time and I regret. This one is awful I try to place it on with a sponge or even a brush and it seems like no foundation even stays on and it's too liquidy and it seems like I'm not even putting any foundation on because it all stays in the brush/sponge. Don't recommend this product

Never tried MAC foundations before, so I was a bit worried about liking this foundation. I used the try on feature to pick my color since I was ordering it online, and the color was a good match. This is a great foundation for me, it glides well and does not look cakey or dry on me. I use a flat top foundation brush to apply it, and I find that a little does go along way. It's very lightweight, which I like. I have combination skin, and I find that if I set my T-zone I'm usually set for the whole day. It's not transfer proof but that's okay, I still really like it.

I would compare this to a medium coverage skin tint. It can be layered for more coverage and never looks cakey or dry! Love it for daily use and layered with additional SPF for extra protection. Nice glow and blurs imperfections! Search for perfect foundation is over. Thanks Mac! Never stop making this gem!

I LOVE this! The Ulta app matched my color perfectly and this is just the amount of coverage I was looking for. It covers imperfections but doesn't look like a layer of paint that's all cakey. Also, I love that it didn't settle into the fine lines like my previous foundation did.

Received this as a gift, tried it on and the color is very off for my skin color. Makes me look like a clown with the pink undertones. Now i am stuck with this foundation that I cannot enjoy using....
