Like, But Did y'all Read the manual or ask for help? the device does stop working/flashing sometimes, because of the sensors, something about it, but if you try a different area or just pull it away and put it back on the skin, it will work again. sometimes when I'm doing my legs and that happens, I'll put it on my face, just till it flashes again, then go back to where I was Also, try whipping the flash and the sensor. I've had this for about a year, but barely got to so this review cause I happened to see this Item again here on the page and saw all the bad reviews. Everyone's results are different. I have light skin with dark course hair. I had used the machine until it stopped working literally a year and a month after the warranty went out. Pros: 1. The rest after repetitive use, the results were long lasting. Probably about 2 to 3 weeks. 2. Easy to use. 3. Painless in certain areas. 4. No razor burn or ingrown hairs. 5. Save money on razors and shaving gel. Cons: 1. After not being able to use the machine hair grew back as normal. 1. Results weren't permanent. 2. A little costly to invest in. 3. Can be time consuming depending on the area you are treating. 4. Getting a hold of customer service can be very difficult. If someone asked me today if I would recommend buying this product. I would say No, don't waste your money. Once I finally got a hold of customer service they wanted me to pay another $200 because I was past the warranty period. A friend recommending going to a professional clinic. Though clinics are most costly, the results have been permanent. Some clinics have specials as well as payment plans. In the same amount of time I used this machine the professional results were 100% more gratifying. I called customer service for the the flash n go. They told me if it is not flashing, to take a piece of toilet paper and put it over my skin. Then try it. Sounds crazy, but it did actually work. After I get it to flash, then I continue using it on my skin without the toilet paper. I have dark, coarse, hair and very pale skin, so I am an ideal candidate for this. I have dark hair all over my body from my face to my toes (gross I know) I used this to treat me whole body on level 3 last Thursday. It is now the following Tuesday and I barely have to shave again when normally I have to shave every other day. Additionally, now that I've shaved, my skin is crazy soft, it feels like I have waxed! My skin has never felt completely soft from shaving before because my skin is so coarse! It already nearly stopped all growth on my arms and knuckles. I am going to treat every 7 days, as recommended for my coarse hair, for the next 3 weeks and then start to stretch out treatments as needed, but so far I am very happy with the results! Some notes... it took me a little bit of time to figure out how to make it work best on different body areas. On lower legs, holding it horizontally along your shin bone keeps the sensor/light in the right position to detect hair follicles. Anywhere else "soft" (not along bone or narrow areas), you can hold the unit vertically. Press a little harder than you think you need to, and make sure the room is dark. I like to press and hold the button, and glide along slowly while it flashes every 2 seconds or so. I decided to only shave once a week so I could track my progress easier and I have noticed the hair not growing in as quickly, and some areas it has already stopped coming in completely.Seeing results!5Chazif from Norman, OKSo I was hesitant to buy, because of reviews on other silk'n devices. I wanted to give it a few months before reviewing myself. After 8 treatments, I am definitely seeing both less hair AND slowed growth. I use the device on my armpits, legs, and bikini area. It takes me a bout 20 minutes every two weeks. I look forward to continued results. (I have fair skin and med brown hair). NOTE: this is not something that works instantly!! Have patients and be sure to do your treatments.
