But NARS definitely delivers with this gorgeous pot concealer. It applies smoothly and evenly with a concealer brush, melts into the skin (and your foundation) when pressed and warmed with your fingers but maintains its coverage, layers well with color-correcting creams (if desired), and lasts all day without significant creasing or settling into fine lines. More impressively, it covers hyperpigmentation or acne blemishes with less product than most liquid or mousse concealers and without sheering out. And it's easy to work with for graphic eye looks as well (see image below), such as cut lid or cut crease. But be clear, this is a truly matte finish product. If you prefer more dewy or illuminated finishes under the eye, this probably isn't the product for you. I'll also say that the color selection isn't necessarily intuitive next to their foundation selection. I'm very fair and cool-toned, and I wear the shade Mont Blanc in both the NARS All Day Luminous Foundation and the Sheer Glow Foundation, and either Finland or Terre Neuve in the Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, but I'm shade Vanilla (not Chantilly) in the concealer. Matching the undertone is probably more important than the depth of the shade. All in all, if you're looking for a matte concealer, this is an excellent option.Most Helpful Critical ReviewWanted to like it.Didn't have the best coverage but I guess Im very used to my tarte shape tape (which I love and have repurchased multiple times) I find that with my combination skin this concealer doesn't ever really set, even with a powder on top. It "melts" off throughout the day and looks cakey on my skin. I initially bought the radiant, but I had difficulty getting it to blend smoothly into my skin. I switched to this and it has been a lifesaver. I usually use this under my eyes (on top of the elf under eye brightner/primer). I just use a finger to pat a very small amount of product in, and it stays beautifully all day. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise: 1. Buildable to a very full coverage, 2. A very natural finish on the skin, 3. Wide variety of shades. I use it in the inner corner of my eyes, and on the outside to eradicate all darkness/discoloration. A little bit goes a long way. Best applied if you warm up the product with your fingers, and then apply it to the skin.
