I've tried a lot of different products and always feel like they're missing something but this one does it all. You can really feel the mascara wake up your eyes for that wide awake look. I may be unlucky, but I;'ve had issues with smudging that I'll describe in this review. I've used tubing mascaras before. In fact, L'oreal's is the only one that I've ever found that doesn't smudge. I used it for years but wanted something that would do more for my lashes. Enter Eyeko. I purchased two formulas and tried this one first for a less dramatic day, look. The curved brush does as some lift but not much. My lashes are incredibly straight, however. Someone did comment that they were still straight while using this mascara. Lash Alert does more for length than volume. It's not super clumpy, Neither is it very dramatic. It's definitely a day look. Within the first couple hours, I noticed a bit of flaking. But my eyes had been a bit watery. I wiped it away, and it seemed okay. During the day I blotted and applied more powder because I felt oily. However, this had smudged within seven hours. That's not even a full work day and a far cry from the advertised 12! No one else seems to have this issue, but I did. Also, it doesn't wipe off like a tubing mascara -- you know, the clumping with water. It comes right off with a makeup wipe or remover. Except for the part that stays on my skin. I've paid much less for products that work the same. I am not even sure if this actually is a tubing mascara from my experience. The wand is small and curved which helpes separate and lift well. This is a thin formula that spreads easily and evenly. This looked good when I applied it and it stayed on pretty well (a little bit of smudging but no flaking). But taking it off was really hard for me. I used micellar water and then tried waterproof makeup remover, but neither did a great job for me. It stayed in sticky clumps on my eyelashes, and would cling for a day or two after wearing. It definitely does not tube. Within an hour it smudges under my eyes. I tried this product for a full two weeks to see if I could get it to work, but no matter what ends up a mess. I did notice improvement to my lashes as far as length and softness after using continuously. The one tiny downfall is that the product does run out or dry up quicker than usual mascaras. I was using it with and without eyelash primer and it clumps a lot both ways. Not really black. Doesn't curl lashes, it makes them actually strait. Taking mascara off is difficult because it crumbs all over the face.
