They glide on SO easily and are fully opaque. There is no patchiness, tugging, nadda! Oh and they do not bleed at all or settle into lip lines which is a huge deal for me. Now, these are matte, but they are not as long lasting as the liquid mattes that dry down. However, these DO dry down but do not feel as drying and stiff as liquid lipsticks. Anyways, the point I'm getting to is that if you eat something, it will wear off slightly (only slightly!!) on the inner lips, so you will have to reapply, but with drinking I noticed that it does not transfer onto cups or bottles which is fantastic! So even though they don't last as well through food as some liquid lipsticks do, the comfort and actual application of this product trumps all the negative aspects it has (only saying negative as I know some people may see it as that, however I don't see anything negative about reapplying maybe 1-2x per day). My lips are quite pigmented depending on how they feel lol so they range from a soft pink to a medium berry pink. Over my lips, each color looks as described: Pixi- True nude, will probably look the same as your skintone if you are light skinned (I am fair, so it's still nude for me but not so nude that it looks like concealer on my lips- it's a nude with a brown undertone, very pretty) Belle- True pink nude, it looks super soft and delicate on my lips. It is darker than pixi but still a nude, but more of a mauve/pink nude. Purity- This is a subdued medium plum-pink-nude. It's actually a shade or maybe two shades darker than my natural lip color. I purchased the Sweet Cheeks and Kiss (and Pulse in the Gel lip) and wasnt overly impressed. In terms of color, these mattes are nice and pigmented, as you would expect for a matte. I found Sweet Cheeks to be too bright on me, so she is going back. Kiss is a great pink-nude (no rude on me!) although mine arrived witg the tip broken off, which I don't love. Both of the mattes are fairly comfortable on although they never fully dry down so expect a bit of tackiness (which is probably why they are more comfortable than many mattes that dry down fully). Unfortunately, that means the wear time is not great. I put Sweet Cheeks on just before a meeting at 11, had a coffee (no visible transfer, which made me hope for a long wear time) and a yogurt for lunch, and as you can see in my pic, only the outer portion survived. I suppose if you are suuuuper careful, you might be able to have it survive a meal, but I wouldn't wear this on a date or an outing as I would feel the need to constantly reapply. All that said, I am keeping Kiss because I think she's a great color on me and I struggle to find pinks that don't clash with my pink cheeks. I do think the colors look quite different from how they appear on Ulta and Nudestix's websites, so if you can, try them in person. As much as I love supporting women-owned brands, I'm disappointed Nudestix has not changed their practices with regard to excess packaging. Yes, it's nice to have a little mirror and I try to find ways to repurpose the metal cases these come in, but it is really unnecessary and inevitably, they will end up in landfills. The application was nice and buttery/creamy without the need to heavily apply more to obtain the color. I loved the color and application. I didn't experience any drying or need for reapplication but I was not out for too long (maybe 3-4 hours). When I drank water, it was ok. I did use it again while going out to have a late dinner and the color was so versatile, I didn't have a problem with it in the morning or night. My only concern is that it is marketed for cheek and lip usage, however, I think that is very unhygienic. You shouldn't have your mouth/lip germs all over your cheeks!
