I ended up keeping Valentine, Beauty Junkie, Risk taker, and swapped the other two out for Fearless. I also played around with a few of the colors in the store: Watercolor (soooooo beautiful!), Petite, Modern Times, Plum Pop, and probably a few more. There's three finishes: matte, shimmer, and micro glitter. I'm not a big matte girl, but the mattes I tried were beautiful, although I can't say how easy they are to blend. The shimmers I think are a little easier to blend than the micro glitters, but Peek-a-boo was too light for me (and I have very fair skin!); it barely showed up even with primer. It would probably be a great highlight color on a darker skin tone, though. The micro glitters are a little hard to work with, but they are so so so beautiful. There is fallout, and blending them takes some work. But eye shadow isn't worth my time if it isn't glittery, and they are so shiny and beautiful on my eyes. The colors I have work together nicely to make an eye look I love, although I'm also using other colors for transition colors and base. One of my biggest problems is the packaging, though. As I said, I got the 4-pan palette, but I had some trouble getting shades out of their original packaging and into the palette. I definitely gouged Beauty Junkie with my nail trying to pop it out from its case >:( I think they just need to work a little more on the magnets so that it's just a little easier to move the pans around.Most Helpful Critical Review1/2 the amount, new packagingSuper upset that Ulta changed their packaging for their eyes how pallets. The first shade, good vibes, had a SUPER DECEPTIVE overtone. The top is sprayed on- the actual color of this shade is a PINKY PURPLE. I had hope this was a good neutral. Regardless its super dusty. The second shade, coconut, is a PERFECT NEUTRAL. However it has the same kick back of excess product issue, and mine came shattered. So, the formula is not very strong. The lighter colors and the shimmers are fairly pigmented and easy to work with. The darker colors though, they can be patch and difficult to work with. I bought this to take on vacation the beach. I was looking for a small compact. I apply just a dab of concealer on my eyelids before the shadow. It goes on quickly and smoothly and last all day. I am also going to use this shadow when I don't want to do a full makeup application. This is a great value for the money as it will last s long time. The store associate showed me where it was located and helped me select a great color!
