I mainly wear my concealer under my eyes and as a spot treatment for blemishes. I've wore Covergirl concealer for ages and wanted to try something different. I picked 2 popular brands to try out because both were so highly rated on Ulta and other websites. I tested both the Urban Decay Naked concealer and the Nars concealer. I even wore Urban Decay on one eye and Nars on the other for several days, just so I could monitor the coverage throughout the day. Same for spot treatments. The first thing I noticed with these higher end, longer lasting concealers was creasing. I've never had that problem before so I had to research a solution. I learned to use a moisturizer/oil first, blot/blend the concealer with my finger and set with powder immediately. So I tested the 2 concealers again. Problem solved on both concealers. Urban Decay is much creamer than Nars so it blended with ease, like a lotion. It didn't last as long with spot treatments though. Eye wise, they were both pretty close but I felt that Nars made my skin look more flawless than Urban Decay. Nars is thicker than Urban Decay but spreads with no drag and doesn't look cakey. I think the thicker formula is why it sticks to blemishes better too. I can go all day at my office job and not touch up any spots, even after working out on lunch! Nars was the winner for me and was WAY better at lasting coverage compared to my old Covergirl concealer. I use the Vanilla shade and I have oily skin.
I've been a makeup artist for around 13 years so i've tried SO many concealers. I love buying concealer, just as much as I love buying mascara because I guess i'm always just waiting for that one amazing product that's gonna be super life changing. This was definitely NOT one of those products. First off, the color range was just not great. I own several NARS foundations, and can easily find my shade in those (alaska in velvet matte skin tint, for example). I'm light-medium with a golden/yellow undertone. The golden tones in this concealer are either too light or too dark. Custard is their light/medium with a yellow undertone..then comes ginger. Custard was way too light, ginger was way too dark. In between those shades, there are other peachy tones like canelle, but if you're truly golden/yellow like me...peachy tones just look like you've rubbed pink eyeshadow all over your face. So that part was disappointing..and I run into this same issue in all of NARS concealers. So, beware of that if you're light and golden like myself. Then there was the issue with the texture. I'm not one of those people who piles on concealer and foundation...I personally feel that it's more modern and pretty and chic to blend concealer strategically so that you appear to just naturally have great skin...and with practice that is possible. And believe me, I don't naturally have great skin I'm just not into the mask-like foundation/concealer look. The goal is for people to look at me and think "wow her skin is so pretty" not "wow look at all that foundation." But the texture of this concealer was SO CAKEY. Even using light layers, and blending..it was just cakey no matter what. It's a drier consistency, and manages to make texture appear where there is not even any natural texture. For the price, this guy just is a dud. There are way better concealers out there with better shade ranges, and more advanced textures.

Great concealer! When i apply i usually leave it for a fee seconds (30) and then blend it out. To me that way gives fuller coverage. My only isssue is the packaging, it stands uo on my desk but for some reason jt leaks

My forever go to concealer

I use it as a foundation & i love it, or just to spot conceal whenever I don't feel like wearing foundation. I just wish it came in a bigger packaging for the price, but over 100/10 for me!

Nice little packaging is very convenient to carry around. Doesn't crack for me and blends well.

Its very drying but if you can blend it .1 seconds after you apply it you might be good. For it to be so expensive its too hard to work with

the most amazing product ive ever used. it blends so easily and the color is just amazing. a little does go a long way. the only thing i would say is that its pricey, but it is most definitely worth the price.

Awesome coverage, blends fairly easy as well! Not to creamy nor is it "matte" when you apply. Definitely recommend

this is the best concealer for my darker skin tone

It goes on and spreads super nicely, it's very pigmented and blendable. I put this on for a little farmer's market date with my girlfriend in the morning - just concealer, no powders or finishing sprays or anything. Kept it on ALL DAU - even while eating edibles in the afternoon. and despite furiously cry laughing at lame cat videos and being zooted out of my mind for four hours straight and passing out for another four… it never budged, creased, separated or otherwise look bad. I need to emphasize that I will never use a different concealer ever again, it's perfect.

A staple concealer; right for me. A light-medium coverage concealer. Not cakey.

I have tried many concealers and this is my favorite by far. I have purchased this multiples times. Being in my late 40's it works well for dry under eyes and it does not settle in my fine lines.
concealer from Las Vegas
it made the bags under my eyes more visible but it covered the redness of my acne really good. I think this is a good spot concealer.

I got sick of hearing all the hype around this concealer and tried it. I love it and I didn't want to because it's pricey. I have dry under eyes and some dark circles to cover, and I don't wear foundation. This does exactly what I need it to. Doesn't crease unless I put too much on, which I did the first day. It lasts the work day and through my lifts, doesn't smell weird, and doesn't dry out my eyes - all while providing the right amount of coverage (I prefer more of a medium coverage). I'll by the full size :)

Wish it came in a bigger bottle with a longer applicator.

Great coverage, blends well and perfect tone for my complexion

I absolutely love this concealer, I always find myself grabbing first. The wear is long, smooth coverage, makes my undereyes look healthy. My only con, the flash back in photos with flash. My husband is a photographer, and the flashback is embarrassing. I have to choose between this product and the shape tape, I definitely prefer this.

Now that I'm starting to show my age, I'm looking for a concealer that won't clog in my pores. This wasn't it!
