These clippers work perfectly and the nail clippings fall into the compartment in the tool and can be emptied out by sliding the side parts out. They are also easy to hold because of the grip, and they have good leverage to make cutting very thick nails easy. He loves them and always keeps up with his nails now, and they also work great for his toenails.Most Helpful Critical Reviewnot what they used to beI bought these tweezers 20 or 30 years ago. They were superb. The pair I just bought is almost as good as Revlon tweezers which cost about 1/3 as much.The entire jaw surface area is suppose to meet. Not just the edge of the surfaces, the entire surface area - like a high quality pair of pliers. These don't do that; they only meet at one edge. The toenail clippers are good. They have an effective non-slip grip which also serves as a catch bin. Most, not all, of the nails automatically fall into this bin. The flaw is in the design - the jaws don't open wide enough to EASILY get around toenails. (You can fit them in, but it's sometimes a struggle). Because of this, the toenail clippers work better on fingernails since fingernails are thinner than toenails. You should see those things fly 🤭😳 ! I finally disgusted myself and treated myself to these top flight, trimming containing and sharp in a good way clippers and even the dog is relieved👀. But seriously, these clippers are built to last and up to the task and make an easy and safe job of it. The non slip grip is terrific. My order was accurate, complete and received quickly.
