Of all the polishes I've tried, this went on so smoothly. The 1st coat dried quickly, as did the 2nd. The top coat dried even faster! It was all set and dry before I could even mess it up! The BEST part about this 2-step polish is that the top coat didn't remove the polish or mess up the polish like other top coats I've tried. It is super shiny and looks great, dare I say even professional?? (and I'm by far not the best nail polisher). I'm only a couple chip-free days into it, but I would DEFINITELY buy/use/recommend even if it didn't last the touted "up to 14 days." Normally polish wont last me more than a few hours without chipping (yes even gel it just peels off); my nails just don't cooperate. But THIS LASTED ME A FULL 7 DAYS NO CHIPS!!!! I am amazed! I removed it at the 7 day mark because I wanted to switch colors. Only thing I don't love about this is a) drying time and b) applies streaky and gets tacky if you try to pass the brush over the nail more than once in a coat. The polish is easy to apply, and it dries quite quickly. While there aren't a ton of funky colors, this line covers lots of classic colors. The only con is that it chips within 3-4 days. I use it as recommended (with the top coat) and it just doesn't last. To be fair, I'm pretty rough on my hands; I suspect that plays a role. But it's disappointing when something is marketed as long-wear and it just isn't the case.amazing nail polish!5savana from MAi use the color fairy tailor (40) and it lasts so long on me, longer than any other nail polish i've used, usually about a week to a week and a half if i prep my nails properly. i wipe my nails with acetone to prep, do two coats of color, and finish with the gel couture top coat, waiting about 5 minutes between each color coat and giving myself 30 minutes to ensure that the top coat dries completely (i noticed chipping/peeling faster when i did three coats of color, so i personally recommend two). i will definitely continue to repurchase fairy tailor (40) and the top coat! amazing products!LOVE5Melissa from New YorkI love this product!! I've tried the Sally Hansen 2-step gel and it was not good at all. I've always liked Essie polish but didn't know about Gel Couture. I'm so glad I heard about it. It's SO MUCH better than SH.
