These work very well for silky slippery hair. I will say though for anyone with hair shorter than collar bone length the larger of the two sizes is a little bit too big; it'll still give volume but no curl and mine need a little bobby pin reinforcement. (obvioulsy that's at no fault of the rollers just wanted to give a size reference)
I wished I could have loved this but I couldn't get myself to. The rolls wouldn't hold in my hair, needless to say I do have thick hair but even in smaller parts the hair wouldn't stay and it never gave my hair any type of texture or curl. My hair would fall stuck straight, worst than if I did a basic blowout. I love and stand by all DryBar products, but just not this one.

These rollers are fine. Nothing spectacular. They can fall out. They feel flimsy. Overall, I wasn't in pressed. Same your money and buy the cheaper ones.

Complete trash. I've ordered it two times and both times, I hated it Returned

I do like this product and it gets the job done. I recommend buying two sets and alligator claw clips( I love the Shark brand ones). I have longer fine hair and it would work better with hair that medium length so tangling wouldn't be an issue.

First time using them, didn't know how to I winged it. I have to straighten my hair 1/3 of the top and use a curling iron after. After I curled a piece I used the rollers. Left them in for about 20 mins, took them off and gave me plenty of bounce!

first time hair roller purchasee! This were so simple and easy to use. Thicker hair will need clips to hold solidly in place

For the price, you can't beat these! The low star reviews are probably people who just don't know how to style well with rollers. The first time I tried, my hair didn't curl, and had nothing to with these rollers and everything to do with me and my hair texture. Play around. Find what works for you. Life is expensive. These rollers do just fine ladies

These are great and I really love the volume they give my hair. Easy to use, easy to store. They work really well. I think they are very reasonably priced. The Velcro works well in my hair (thin/fine, but I have lots of it). No issues at all.

Love the concept, but I don't think it's meant for those of us with long fine hair. Not only did it tangle due to the bristle structure on the roller, but once the rollers that were successfully removed there wasn't even a wave. Definitely better for people with thicker hair strands and less length.

I was excited to try these as it had very great reviews at the time I purchased them. They do not stay put unless you use clips. ZERO curls or waves came out. I even used a blow dryer for some heat. I was sure I was using them incorrectly, so I watched several videos/tutorials. I even lent them to my sister and a friend with thin and much less hair than mine, thinking that was my problem. NOPE. They had the exact same experience. It was a big waste of my time.

These are cute. but i was looking for curlers that would hold themselves for hair past shoulders, as i thought drybar basically advertised. . . These fall without bobbie pins and didn't hold curl even with being bobbie pins. Love drybar but not these curlers

I have naturally wavy hair that often puffs up and frizzes out, but I love the look of blunt bangs. I hate using heat styling on my hair because no matter how careful I am or what spray I use, the humidity in my home state just doesn't let the styling hold. Plus, it doesn't help that it can get pretty damaging in the long term. Enter: High Tops... The "small" ones are perfect for wet-setting my bangs- after I shower, I section them into three. I curl the top layer inward on itself, then the bottom in two parts towards my face and then I fall asleep. And it works great! If I'm going to be working that day I'll set it with spray before I take them out. They're self adhering, but usually I add a bobby pin just to keep it in place while I'm sleeping. Perfect volume, size, and curl. The large rollers are also great to add a little upward volume to the back of my head, but I don't find myself reaching for these too often.

Work pretty well, sometimes fall

These feel like Velcro in your hair. Don't buy these if you have 4c hair. My hair is a few inches past my bra strap. I thought great these are large rollers so my hair will fit. Not only was my hair to thick when I wrapped it all the way it was too much hair on one roller.

This product definitely gives my hair more volume.

I give it 4 stars because of the quantity and the price. But the rollers are the bomb get volume on hair

After blow drying my hair I normally take 1- 1 1/2 inches on each side of my part and the three large rollers in this set. It took a little bit to get the hang of it and clip them in place with an alligator clip on each side of the front two and do my makeup. By the time I'm finished my hair is completely cool. Flip over with a little hairspray and I'm good to go. These give the best lasting volume for days and make my layers stand out like no other!
Stays in place well from Webster, NY
I use them after using my blow dry brush and it gives a perfect blow out look and volume and a little curl. They stay in place really well too.

Hair falls off the rollers until you're trying to take them off, then it rips out a few strands. Stays in place and good size just not worth the hassle

Had high hopes for these but they don't even stick in your hair and end up making your hair frizzy.

If you are looking to get volume on your hair. Not only is it cute but it works!!!

Well, there is no fear these will fall out of your hair. They're dense velcro. However, they will rip hair out of your head and pull the style out at the same time. Don't do it. There are other rollers out there and these ain't it.
Olivia from Columbus Ohio
Did not stick well on my long wavy hair. I wound up having to use clips to hold them in place. The ends wound up frizzy from the Velcro and didn't really get much bounce or wave. I'm better off using a round brush as I blow dry.

If you like pulling velcro out of your hair this might be for you, but only if you also have short/thin hair. Horrible feeling to remove the rollers.

The rollers did what they're made to do.. I used them in freshly dried hair and they held my thick hair just fine (I added clips for support, but could do without) However, there is no difference between these and Goody rollers you could grab at your local dollar store. You're buying the name more than the product.
