This is one of my favorites from the gifts. I also recieved some vitamin c serum, and an apple peel/mask which has retinol in it, which both of those ingredients are what my skin needs lately, due to a sudden acne flare up! This honey silk serum has been my fave so far since l first tried it. I'm ingredient concious and careful about what goes on my face. I had my skin break out suddenly when I turned 30 a year ago and I worry about having a primer under my foundation because of past experiences where it was too heavy and broke me out even more. I used this under my estee lauder double wear foundation (because it says you can use as a primer too) and it was better than any primer, and moisturizer I've ever tried. I had no break outs occur or the acne itching I am used to getting especially with new products. No greasiness and a smooth application. If you use the doublewear by estee lauder then you know applying it is an art itself. I want to bathe in this serum. Wish I could have found about it sooner. I'm so pleased with this and it has honey in it so if you're allergic please take notice. Just in case try a patch test too, because I didn't and I know you're supposed to. I've been into making my own face masks lately by buying things like rosehip seed oil and aloe vera gel. This is something I will keep in my routine. I will be buying the full size product as long as it keeps providing me with great results for my sensitive skin and flawless makeup application.Most Helpful Critical ReviewGreat product but wasteful and stupid packagingI love the product but the container is so freaking wasteful. You can't see how much you have left and the container feels heavy because of how much extra plastic. I recently bought another bottle at a really good price & immediately noticed that the formula is completely different. It is no longer that golden-ish color, it's slightly off-white. The bottle says it contains honey, silk amino acids, Sea Buckthorn oil, & Vitamin E. I don't have the old bottle to compare, it's possible these ingredients were in the serum previously, but at the very least, they've adjusted the levels of each ingredient. Now it's mainly vitamin e & sea buckthorn oil & a TINY bit of honey. It's still a nice serum, but to keep the price the same while minimizing the main ingredient & increasing other, less expensive, ingredients is just another form of shrinkflation. I'm very bummed out - if I had paid full price it would definitely be returned. As it is, please be aware of the newer formula. Compare the serum's color to the pictures here. It used to be such a pretty, golden, glowy color. Now it just looks like any other white-ish serum.
