I bought this for myself a year ago and love how it works, so bought it for my sister. Really helps to pinpoint where you want the fibers to go.
I have been using Toppik for a few years, it has done wonders for my self-esteem and image. The applicator is what I refer to as the "worst product ever made, for the best product ever made". I find it physically exhausting to squeeze the "bulb, when nothing comes out, then I resort to banging it, filling the bottle, then I get a few good blasts...but after a few months of use, just air; I'm about to order my 4th. There has to be a better way to dispense your great product. When it works, it's great, but it's hit or miss.

I used the puffer twice and then while trying it a third time ABSOLUTELY NOTHING would come out. I just pump and pump and nothing. Total waste of money in my opinion.

I think most people would purchase the applicator because it applies product more evenly that not having it, but I didn't find that to be the case. Tends to puff out patches of product until you've pumped the top for a while. Not a good value for the price.

It is good a little pricey for what it is but works good

I use it just for my hairline and in helps with an even natural look. I wouldn't use toppik without it tbh. I did but the hairspray to make sure it holds in place, too.

It doesn't stay on you scalp.

Its not required and truly a waste of money, and it really don't work as described.

I love this applicator and hairline template, although I had to use wide-mouth pliers to remove the sifter cap from the bottle of product to get it on. It was on so tightly that even my big guy husband could not budge it, and he didn't think it even came off (and yeah, I just loved showing the bottle of this stuff to him). It was easy with the wide-mouth pliers, but took me literally years to get to the point of going to that effort!

This is a great applicator to use to evenly distribute the toppik product

Works ok, just shaking bottle works better.

I liked the pump applicator. I can get into my hair to fix certain areas without messing up my hair. So far I do not use the hairline template. I found it got too much coverup product too near my face and it did not look natural.

By using the pump, you can accurately apply the fibers to right where you want them. The comb is another great tool to give you a more natural hairline especially used in conjunction with the pump. Also, customer service is top of the line. Toppik puts the needs of the clients first. A++++++++++++++++ Thank you! Don't ever go out of business!

This is worth it to prevent mess, use less product, and the one most important to me: BETTER DISTRIBUTION

I had high hopes for the pump to assist in applying the fibers but it just doesn't work. I have had to resort to just shaking the fibers on which is hit and miss. I do like the tool for avoiding a straight line.
