Once while going to a family game night. Yesterday with no other make up besides Carmex just for the lift, and today to go get my hair cut and styled. This truly truly is my must have if I was ever stranded on an island and could only have 2 things, this and Carmex. I love this so much I put it on Facebook to tell all my family and friends.Most Helpful Critical ReviewIt works fine as a primerI am light medium skin tone with aging eyelids. I bought this mostly because I have recently started reacting to traditional primers. They leave me red, itchy, flakey. Neither comfortable nor good-looking. This is easy to apply -- a couple of dots with the applicator and then spread over my entire lid to brow with fingers or a brush. The color is basically a taupe-flesh. Does nothing to enhance my eyes. However, as a primer it is non-irritating, allows other shadows to adhere and blend, wear-time is ok -- I have not really put it thru it's paces and no obvious or immediate creasing. So, while my eyes recover and I can figure out the ingrediant causing irritation, I will continue to use and I am relieved there is something on the market to fulfill this need. With such alabaster skin, I struggle to find an eyeshadow that won't look heavy.l, even light shadows! This eyeshadow is the one! It's the perfect shade (shade 2-the original). It's so light but so beautiful as it has a little glow and natural color. It makes my eyelids SO smooth and my blue eyes just pop a little more. I can see how this eyeshadow would go with any skin tone and eye color. After my nightly skin care application, I will go to bed with a coat of this on and some nourishing lip oil. It has a slight eyelid lifting effect (not as much as the eyelid serum but it's there!) and just such a smooth and beautiful glow. It's adds to my eyes but does not look like I'm wearing makeup which I love! Best part is I will apply 2 coats when I want more color. It truly is versatile and buildable.
