My dermatologist recommended lotions but all where quite oily and did nothing for my very dry skin overall. As a birthday gift for my 22nd I received this and other products, this lotion is so light weight, dries so fast and even brightens my skin. I used this with the cleanser and my skin looks amazing!! Harsher brands made me breakout but this is so light and straight to the point. I'm wearing makeup more now since my skin has gotten so much smoother from this brand. Haven't had a breakout in so long! Will forever be a customer now and always.Most Helpful Critical ReviewLeaves sensitive skin itchy and redI had really high hopes Upon buying this, particularly with all the good reviews. However I noticed that I have some sort of allergic reaction wearing this...it feels fine at first but after a few hours of wearing it I notice my skin gets super red and EXTREMELY ITCHY (in fact the reason it's probably so red is because I can't stop itching). It's very uncomfortable and not like any regular itches I have...Even after washing it off and putting anti-itch cream on it, it still itches! Very frustrating, and results in unattractive splotches all over my face. I do not have eczema however I do have sensitive skin, so BEWARE either way. I'm actually curious as to which ingredient in this it is that gives the allergic reaction, as I do not usually get reactions to moisturizer creams. I know this is different for everyone, but does anyone know if there is a common allergic ingredient in this? I really regret it though. Ever since starting I have been breaking out. I started micro tretenoin two weeks before. To answer most questions, no its not purging. I used to only use it on my body - I have HS and it's the only cream that doesn't make those areas worse. So, I cut back on my skincare routine (stopped using harsh exfoliates, only use a face wash to remove makeup, masks, etc).
