I bought this bath brush about 3 years ago, and I want you to know that it is still going strong....the bristles are still soft, the head has not come apart and best of all, the head has not turned black....I love it !
This turned black after three uses. I think something with a curved handle would work better anyway. I wasn't able to make contact as well as I expected, and the bristles are just ok. I think they're spaced a little too sparsely. I recommend trying something different.

What are the bristles made of. Back started breaking out and itching within days of using this brush. Looks like heat rash, but was unable to upload photo. Packaging says bamboo, but I don't think bristles are made from bamboo. My prior FULLY bamboo back brush, which I had for years, NEVER caused me any problems.

I've been using this brush for about 2 years now. My only complaint is that it isn't also available without a handle. The bristles are soft enough to use all over me, but trying to use it in places that aren't hard to reach is frustrating. I have loofahs and scrunchies and other bath tools, but the brush rinses sooo easily. I love not having to spend time rinsing body wash out of my bath tools and I reach for this brush when I need to take a "quick" shower.

Good design but falls short. The bristles are way too soft.

I've only had this brush for a little over a month, only used maybe 6-8 times. At first I thought it might just be how the wood looked but it's definitely mold and has continued to grow. Honestly disgusting.

Literally started growing black mold after 3 days hanging in my shower, and i only used it once. Terrible product, look for something else!

This brush gets moldy within 1 month of use so buyer beware.

I bought this looking for something to help with those hard to reach spots (back, feet, etc) and yes, this is great! It is so soft and really works well! It holds body wash so well, too, it doesn't just rinse right out right away. I use this for my back, my upper arms, and I have a separate one for feet.

All the reviews about the brush quickly growing moldy are true and correct and there is nothing you can do to keep it from happening. I cleaned it after using and dried it and hung it uo in an airy space but it didnt matter. The mold grows within the wood because they must not seal the wood.

It works nice because its long and gets my back really well. I also use it on my feet and it reaches there just fine. Its just hard to grip. My hand starts to get sore when I hold it for a long time. It was on sale, buy one, get one 50% off. I only bought one.

I did like it until the black mold appeared between the sponge and the wooden handle.

Too soft to even feel like youre really actually scrubbing your body. Grew mold so quick even when rinsing it after use

I do not recommend this product as it grows mold. We have not had this brush very long and it already has mold growing on it.

I got this Bath brush in hopes to put it to good use for my back. I used it once an the next day it was already showing mold. Luckily I got this during spring sale so I didn't spend much but I honestly wish I could get my couple of dollars back. Im disappointed with this product. The only thing I did enjoy about this was the soft bristles but I feel that it wasn't exfoliating well.

This brush helps to get to places I can't normally reach with my short arms. I do like that the handle part is made from plant matter, but I wish the bristles weren't sythetic. I do like that they aren't made from animals, but it's not great for the environment to be having more waste. I'll have to consider this again.

like other reviews the brush head turns black after a couple of days.

(Is "grippier" a word?) The bristles and overall construction are quite nice. However, the handle gets slippery when wet!

purchased about 4 months ago, where handle fits into brush and around brush teeth mold has formed. After each use the brush is hung to allow drying. pretty disappointed. other wooden brushes in the past have not had this issue.

Bought less than a month ago and black mold developed on the brush.

Just opened up the brush today and it's already shedding! The Bristles are very soft though but I haven't used it yet and so many hairs have fallen out. I'm extremely disappointed

I bought this at Target and it immediately got black at the point where the bristles meet the wood and my shower is not moldy, it is very clean. I tried bleach and vinegar separately to clean it and the black will not come off. I would take it back to Target but that feels gross. I did not even get to use it. Maybe it's not meant to keep in the shower even for one day.

The brush is so soft and I love using it.
krisaz from AZ
bristles are too soft too feel as if it did anything effective. the wood mildew easily after a week. this was a trying-again purchase from a couple years ago, and I'm resolute that this is the last time.
