My skin instantly looked and felt so much smoother and softer. It looks as though my pores are reduced and my skin is glowing. Right after using it, my skin is a little red (which I feel is normal for an exfoliator) but once that wears off my skin has less red in it than it would be otherwise! So basically, I really feel like this product does everything it promises and I will definitely be looking into more from this brand!Most Helpful Critical ReviewNever AGAIN; Beware Harsh Ingredients in this ProductI tried this because I wanted to lightly exfoliate my combination/oily skin once a week. Am I sorry that I tried this product. I read the label which states that this product is "for all skin types" and given the fact that the line is known for using natural ingredients and extracts, and had read the reviews, so I mistakenly believed this product is safe. Trust me, it is not! It's kind of greasy and takes a lot of rinsing to get this off your face. I splashed with cool water and gently used with only my fingertips in light circles on my entire face. Immediately, my face started burning, turning red in the areas where I'd applied the scrub. I freaked out and began splashing cool water and cold compresses only, but my face felt like it was scalded with angry red bumps everywhere. My skin was absolutely perfect before using this. All I was hoping for was to brighten in certain areas. There was nothing I could possibly have used to lessen the burn or to prepare me for this. Now, a full 4 days later my face has now started peeling, still feels hot and sensitive to even water, and I realize now that my face was burned by this product. I am afraid to put anything on since it's still healing. I did notice the red outline everywhere I had used this product. I have never written a review, but wanted other consumers to know that this product is not for everyone. Other reviewers had apparently had a bad experience. Before this, I'd only used the hydrating rose water, lavender water, cucumber water mists, but had not used any other Mario Badescu products and never will.Reviewed by 297 customersNice4Lori from NJIt's a nice scrub. My skin is much happier now but if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't recommend. It was too harsh for me, and I haven't had but one bad zit in the 2 weeks I've not been using it (and using this wouldn't have prevented that because it's on my neck under my jaw).
