ok, let me first say that I didn't want to like this stuff! HOWEVER,,,it does work nicely. I have had a dry flaky scalp for 20 years and this stuff cures it in one wash. I hated the smell in the bottle and in the shower,,,HOWEVER the smell changes once your hair dries and it does smell great during the day--never thought I'd say that! I don't use it everyday so I can't review it on daily use, but I do use it off and on between my other shampoos. I will always own a bottle of this stuff. If you are buying it because you have a flaky scalp,,,let me tell you this. Just about any shampoo you buy that is a PROFESSIONAL shampoo will do the job. What is drying everyones scalp out are the cheap products that all contain SULFATEs--which help you hair lather up like in the commercials. They cheap products are loaded up heavily with sulfates, the professional shampoos have less sulfates to NO sulfates. My other recommendations would be AG Smooth, AG Colour Saviour, Pureology, Alterna Caviar and anything by LIVING PROOF!!!!! All of them will eliminate your dry scalp! Also, use a clarifing shampoo once a week to eliminate buildup, which can also cause dry scalp. OH,,,one last tip,,,it is not good for everyone to wash every other day or two if they have a dry scalp. I get a dry scalp because even though my hair/scalp seem dry to me, the scalp is actually clogging itself with daily oil, which then creates the dandruff. Washing my hair EVERYDAY has eliminated the flakes as well. So if you use professional products and still have a dry scalp, switch to washing every day or opposite depending on what you currently do.
I have been taking medication that gives me a severe dry scalp. A hair stylist suggested I use this to cure it and it may help with occasional flakes but i don't suggest for sever dry scalp. I think this is more geared toward removing residue and thoroughly cleaning build up from the scalp rather than actual dry scalp. If you find your hair greasy and lifeless this should help with that as a once a week treatment but for severe dandruff try Biolage Scalpsync it saved my scalp!

I have naturally curly hair, normally use shampoo that's like a conditioner. I don't have dandruff but my head has been itching after washing, driving me crazy. After washing with this Paul Mitchell, my hair felt a little stiff, but as soon as I put the conditioner on it's so soft! No itching!!! Curls look great! I like the smell and the cool tingling.

My hair gets oily quick. I use to buy nuetrogenas cleanser but my hair got use to it where I would still see build up. This shampoo DOES the job and keeps my hair looking clean after a few days of use. I love the thinly fresh feeling.

I have been buying this product for many many years. It is the only shampoo my husband will use. I have to say he is 65 and still has a full head of healthy looking hair.

I have only used this product for two showers, and I have already noticed a difference in the build up on my scalp. My dermatologist recommended this, and I am definitely a fan.

I wash my hair once a week during winter and 2x week during summer. I have super dry scalp that can get flakes, this shampoo not only keeps flakes away it leaves my scalp squeaky clean fresh tingly and shiny. Fair warning it feels scary tingly at first but then you'll be addicted to that fresh scalp feeling every time.

Loved it for itchy scalp. After getting hair colored my head itches like crazy. It takes the itch away and nice clean feeling. My only problem is I feel it's a little drying to my hair. I wouldn't use everyday.

I bought this for my husband, he needed a good shampoo , it has a nice scent a bit of a tingle. It also acts as a clarifying shampoo. Tea tree properties are a plus. I also use it every few washes. 10/10

I have been using this shampoo for over five years and it is still my favorite.I also love the lavender mint shampoo as well. This line does a great job cleaning, but does not strip your hair. It doesn't require a lot of product to clean and I have very thick hair. The smell is amazing too!

Recommended by my son's dermatologist for dandruff. He likes both this one and the one that is more moisturizing. Has a pleasant smell and seems to help with the dandruff. Like the pump bottle too.

I love mint but this stuff burns your eyes. I also felt like I had intensified hair loss with this product. Do not recommend.

Probably better to use once per month or in a salon because the product will clean the hair and scalp but it's too harsh for everday wash. Persoanlly I go 2 days no wash then the 3rd day is wash day. A little goes a long way! It's strong because I noticed my hair falling out and I recently had to buy a drain protector for the clumps.

OKAY GIRLYS, this review is as real as its going to get. At first this product was great, wonderful, loved it. Felt great on the scalp, nice and refreshing. Maybe thats the reason I didnt notice it sooner (almost done with the bottle) but my hair started to fall out in clumps at first I thought it was just typically hair fallout but every hairwash started to become real concerning. My hair is super thin now, I can amlost see my entire scalp through my hair. Maybe its just my scalp/hair type, etc. but this product was just not it.

I use as a shampoo and body wash in the summer. I live in the country and there are a lot of wood ticks. Ticks hate tea tree. I can go to sleep after my shower not imagining that I have ticks crawling on me. Tea Tree might not be "listed" for it but I get so fewer ticks when I use it than when I don't.

My daughters have very oily hair and wash it almost everyday. This shampoo works well on oil hair. My daughters now can go 2-3 days between shampooing.
