I've switched, and tried other products out of curiosity, but I always come back to this. I have long, thick, fine hair, and this doesn't make my hair waxy or weighted down. Conditions nicely, and Detangles well. Nice, pleasant smell. I use this with the Original Awapuhi Shampoo. I have oily hair, and the two have worked well together for many years. They leave my hair silky and shiny. I never have a problem with my oily scalp when using these two together, and yet they don't dry out the rest of my hair. I would recommend to anyone with oily, fine hair.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot for meI had high hopes about this product because of the brand. Usually my go to shampoo is the Biology Hydration shampoo and conditioner, they leave my hair feeling AMAZING!! However Biology shot the prices up of their shampoo and conditioner by over $10 each so I needed something affordable which the prices on these are amazing! I bought the shampoo and conditioner, I was very impressed with the shampoo as I thought it cleaned my hair and was very gentle. Then I got to the conditioner and was extremely disappointed. The smell is like a unscented cream and it felt like I was putting lotion in my hair. The texture was like a cheap cream, it felt my hands and hair feeling grimy. It was hard to spread the product evenly through my hair and I found myself using more. My hair did not feel hydrated, it was dry. I did notice it was easier to brush which was nice. My partner said the same thing with her hair which is coarse compared to mine. I debated returning the product which I wish I would have and just spent the extra money on the Biology conditioner. I would buy the shampoo again because it was amazing, just not the conditioner. I did have a little extra of my Biology conditioner so I used this with the Paul Mitchell's shampoo and my hair was so soft!! I'd use that combo in the future for sure! Hope this helps someone. I'm giving this product a 2 stars because the prices is unbeatable for the size, it's lasted me over 3 months for 2 people, and my hair brushes easier. The formula is rather light, and easy to work with. I dont have thick hair, and this conditioner does not really detangle well enough my damaged color-treated hair. I need a conditioner that is deeply moisturizing and detangling, and unfortunately, this conditioner did not really work for me. I expected better detangling, and was hoping for "replenishing thirsty hair" as this product claimed. It works so much better than Moroccan Oil products which I had been using for years. Is also a lot cheaper! I do not have to use as much, smells amazing, and works better at detangling my hair.
