I have tried drugstore stencils and they were too small for my face. I love the heavy feel of the plastic. The stencil "stuck" to my skin well. This is well worth the money! I got it right the first time and I'm a klutz! I have average features and my eyes are on the larger side. For those that feel the stencils are too large... mark your skin with a pencil according to the instructions. Pick the stencil matching your eyebrow closest. Do the eyebrow section closest to the nose first (between point I and III.) Then line up "point II" so that "point III" (the middle cutout) is over the iris (the color part) Use pencil to double check your alignment. I would buy this again and again. I'm not a petite woman, and whereas I am a BBW, I'd say my facial features are pretty average. I'm not sure what model they used for their measurments, but it wasn't an average woman's head. Perhaps this would be an excellent product for people with a larger bone structure, but not for me... which is a shame. The product is made of sturdy plastic and looks like it would have been helpful for me to paint on my brows. I don't use it as much when most of the shape is intact. However, I sometimes over pluck or over razor them. Then, this tool comes with 5 different shapes to use. The only thing I don't like is that you have to hold it or tape it into place.
