FINALLY! That is what I have to say! I have been for years (since I was 13)trying to find a face wash that is just right for my skin type. (VERY oily, dries out easily, large pores, weird small acne bumps, redness) I would go from product to product to product and I would never find one that really made a difference. I even tried Murad's acne cleanser (blue bottle) and I did notice a slight improvement. But after about 8 months of use I said eh its not enough and went on the hunt again. I searched the Ulta website to see what were the best sellers and this came up. I scoped it out. I have read so many good things about the ingredients included in this product and along with the great reviews (on here and other sites I check them all)I said I MUST try this. I am so glad I did. In just a few washes I could see my pores become smaller, my skin felt smooth and soft but in no way dry or stripped. My redness is almost nothing and my weird little bumps have gone away. I have used this product for a good month now and I am in love with it. So much so that I'm going to be purchasing a pairing product from this line from Murad to use with it. (some soft of moisturizer) I am glad to say that I am done looking for a face wash product. This is it. Side note, I did not notice a huge improvement on the oiliness of my skin. It still remained about that same. However, I am fully aware that is just my skin type and not a whole lot can really change that. But for those of you looking for that info there ya go. :)
I have normal/combination skin. My only problem area is really my nose(pores and blackheads) and my chin(occasional whiteheads and blackheads) a tiny bit. I bought this product because I've been on a lengthy search to find something to help clean out my pores and serve as an exfoliant. It smells super clean and leaves your skin feeling the same way and polished at the same time with the help of little beads inside. When I started using this product, my skin wasn't bad at all I just had problems with blackheads and enlarged pores on my nose as I said above. I used this product twice in the span of a week as instructed and everything was fine at first, but within a few days of the second use my skin broke out like crazy. I got pimples where I've never had them before like on my cheeks and forehead. When this happened I thought it was just purging everything out of my skin but this breakout lasted for WEEKS. I have no idea if it was an allergic reaction, I didn't have any puffiness but this product didn't work for me at all. I'm not trying to bash this product, just sharing my experience because I know I find it helpful to read both good and bad reviews on products to really get the full scoop. My guess is that the chemicals in it were too drying for my skin causing it to overproduce oil.

I first tried this product when I got it as a mystery sample a few years ago. I loved it so much I bought the full sized. I use this after I use an oil wash/makeup remover balm. It really helps my skin texture and clears my pores and acne. Sometimes I'll let it sit for a few minutes like a mask before I wash it off. My face feels baby soft after using it. I love that Murad makes no nonsense and no gimmick products. This product doesn't bubble or smell like flowers becyits not necessary for a good clean.

I have been using this stuff for 3-4 years now. I love so much about it, but it isn't the "perfect" cleanser. It doesn't really create soap suds. I more use this as a gentle physical exfoliator, that will clear out pores - I get no blackheads with this stuff* - and my skin will feel clean. But it does not remove makeup that well. I double-cleanse with a balm cleanser to remove makeup and then I will actually mix this Murad with a different acne gel cleanser that has more ingredients to help with breakouts as well as making the suds! So maybe this is technically a "triple-cleanse" routine, but it works. I use the Murad and the other acne cleanser kinda sparingly. This bottle will literally last me 12 months easy. I just opened my 3rd bottle and am wondering about getting a backup when it goes on sale. I think I may restrain lol... anyways this cleanser does leave my skin with that "clean" feeling. It does feel stripping somewhat, but I GO IN with my skincare to make my skin happy 😊 This stuff is definitely worth $20-25 on sale! TRY IT!

I have dry, congested skin with large pores in my t-zone. I have used this along with oil cleansing, and and a toner using aha/bha/pha that have helped with shrinking my pores and help with the congestion. I make sure to use hydrating products after.

This is a great product however it's very drying to the face especially for mature skin. I only use twice a week.

I like this cleanser. It was gentle to exfoliate my face but I also liked the results when I used it on my body. Skin feels smoother and brighter. I enjoy the very small physical exfoliants as well as the results from the chemical ones. Definitely recommend trying this if interested in gentle exfoliation.

I'm not big on reviews but I couldn't wait to leave a review on this product! I came across this exfoliating cleanser while visiting my aunt, she swears by it. I decided to give it a try and my goodness, I am so so glad I did! This is seriously a game changer! Immediately I jumped on ulta and bought myself one because it's just that good! After one use you can notice a difference. I highly recommend this product. I seriously want to stock up on more already!!

I bought this product around 10 months ago and use it twice a week (still have the original bottle it is a lot of product). My acne scars are GONE after like 1/2 months of using it. I still use it regularly cause it is a really good product. I am going to buy it for my boyfriend now and I can recommend it for anyone who has acne scars!

This scrub is amazing because it has dual exfoliation which is the best for my acne prone skin! It's not too harsh but gets the job done. People sleep on this product!

I've tried many cleansers and never really stuck with one. However once I started using this cleanser I've never turned back. It cleans the skin so nicely and leaves my skin smooth. It does dry out the skin but I've found using moisturizer and chemical exfoliates along with the cleanser helps combat the dryness. I would definitely recommend this if you're willing to pay a little more for your skincare routine!!

This is pricey but worth it. I ran out of my first bottle and wasn't planning on buying again because of the price but after a few weeks of not using it my skin was going downhill. Purchased again and my skin love it!

I've purchased this cleanser over 3 times. I can normally get about 3-4 months worth of product from one bottle. I've struggled with acne since middle school (now 21). After years of harsh topicals, oral treatments, and accurate, I gave up on having clear skin-until I came across this product. I use this cleanser twice a day and the textured bumps on my skin are completely gone and have stayed gone. I have a few pimples here and there and acne scaring still however, I rarely have new breakouts. I'll continue to purchase this product.

I used St Ives Apricot Scrub for years and now that I'm in my 30s I need the same exfoliating factors without the harshness and this is it!

I've struggled with acne since the age of 12-(21 now). I've tried every product, changed my diet, etc. This face wash is the only product that keeps my skin 100% clear. I will continue to buy this product and recommend it to anyone with stubborn texture/acne!

I am a HUUUGE murad customer. Like 95% of skincare is Murad. I can honestly say this is the first product I've gotten of theirs that I am not a fan of. It has some pros that are typical of Murad products such as lack of nasty scents, good packing etc. but there was hardly any lather during a wash. While I understand exfoliants aren't intended to be very soapy products to begin it was about completely nonexistent. I feel like I needed to apply an extremely generous amount to get slight lather. I also did not feel like it gave my facial skin a good cleaning. In my experience with most facial exfoliants after I've rinsed and blotted my face dry or really immediately after rinsing, my face usually feels very soft. I did not feel any smoothness and I had a large amount of dry skin flakes still remaining. I have only had the product for maybe two weeks so I'm going to continue to use it for a bit in hopes that maybe it will start to work better I guess?🙁 even though I consider this product a fail this is still my favorite company and I'll still continue to buy their products just not this.

I found this product when I was in my early 20's. I will never use anything else. It's the best. My skin is smooth and may be the reason I really don't have any wrinkles. It's just the best. Try it.

I have very dry skin year round but I get clogged pores in the spring and summer. This product both physically and chemically exfoliates my face without over drying or causing dry patches. A holy grail face wash!!

This, in my opinion, (and many friends I have given samples to who have started using it) is THE BEST Exfoliating cleanser in the market! It keeps my pours open, and my skin feels soft and smooth. My husband even likes using it!:)

This tightens my face and makes it feel so so soft. Helps with visible pores too.

this product has been part of my skincare regimen for almost 3 years now. i use it twice a week to exfoliate my face and then i use my regular cleanser. i think it's helped smoothen my skin and even out texture as well as brighten. it's honestly 10/10.

This contains sodium laureate sulfate. This is extremely drying and can be very irritating. Never a good idea to have sulfates in cleansers. The company ruined this product by putting that in. Frustrating. I would have purchased this.

I use this about twice a week (sometimes three if I feel extra oily) and it really even out my skin, and makes it feel much smoother. I find this much better to use than something like The Ordinary's peeling solution, which always burns and adds more to my redness (and yes I follow the directions correctly) It's also very important to moisturize after using this as well! (And spf obviously) I'm also a man with facial hair as well and this feels great in my beard area as well.

I use this every other day. I alternate with charcoal face wash. There are not enough skin products on the market for my age group with oily olive/sallow skin. Only a lot of Retinol. Retinol does not work for everyone.
