I ordered it and it arrived a day early, which was very nice. It smells like a bubblegum chocolate flavor which smells really good!! I applied it as it says on the directions, and after a few seconds of no tingling, you can start to feel it. It does tingle and burn, but it does NOT hurt bad at all!! After a few minutes your lips will plump, so be very patient with it. Once it reaches its maximum plump, your lips will still tingle, but it won't be as bad as it was the beginning of you applying it. Once the lips are not burning or have a tingle sensation anymore, the lips will go down just a tiny bit. You will still get amazing results and look more plumped and fuller than ever!! This was my first time using and actual lip plumping product. I exfoliated my lips prior to using it and used a lip balm then waited about 30 minutes before applying. The first thing I noticed was the scent. It smelled like the Bonne Bell lip glosses I used when I was younger. It has a nice doe foot shaped aplicator which I liked. I put one full swipe on both the bottom and top lips each. At the very first moment I thought it had a slight cooling sensation. But then it slowly started burning. I guess that means its doing its job. But the burning intensified and lasted for at least 10 minutes. During this time I could actually tell that my lips were swelling a little bit. It felt exactly like when I was 13 and had my first allergic reaction to peaches and my lips swelled up 10 times their size. I have very small paper thin lips by the way. So thats exactly what it felt like but on a milder scale. This really burned but was tolerable. The burning sensation did gradually fade after 10 minutes but so did the swelling or "plumping" affect with it. So the actual plumping affect did not last long. I honestly was turned off by the stinging however I'm going to keep using it to see if its something that one becomes accustomed to over time. That is the reason though that I am giving it 3 stars. If you don't mind that sortof stinging burning sensation or you can get used to it then you will probably like this product. My favorite is the too faced lip injection *extreme* and it works amazing. I thought id try the maximum in creamsickle. The lip burn is def worse which is fine but it gives u the exact same plumping effect. I kept getting a red raised line (rash) on each of my cheeks that lasts about an hour and finally figured out i only get it when i put on this gloss. I tried it again and was 100% sure i didnt put anywhere but my lips. Still got it. I dont usually react to things either.
