I was so happy when I saw the email that I was going to be getting a new eyeshadow palette. I was so shocked that I kept reading the email over again because I couldn't believe that I was going to be given a free Kylie product! I have tried her skin care and her Kylie lip kits, but never a Kyshadow palette. This was a dream come true I just couldn't believe how soft and velvety to the touch and so smooth with extreme color payoff. I am a shimmer girl and like a nude girl I was a little sad that there was not any shimmer shades but I absolutely love this it goes with everything and you can make smoky looks & just natural looks pop. So perfect for the fall. I love the all white as the design, the mirror is a bonus. I thought about it and you can literally just grab another palette and put those shimmer shades on top of these matte ones, so there's no need to complain lol I love all the colors, so creamy and soft like a fluffy cloud! It's a must to give it a try! I carry it with me everywhere I go to show off my looks & I'll be posting some selfies next week (: Love the idea of it being clean and not causing any harm to my sensitive eyes. Right now this is my go to 🫶🏻💕Most Helpful Critical ReviewIt's Not Awful*Incentivized, since I was sent this palette for free to review* I love neutral palettes and I actually liked the mix of warmer shades with some neutral/cool transition shades as well, however I dislike the "Black" in this palette called Sable since it pulled very blue toned on my fair/olive skin. My favorite shades are probably the warmer tones and Shadow, however the latter needs a lot of building up. The shade Base is very powdery but does apply and build eventually. At least three dips into each color are needed for a decent level of pay off, but I personally don't mind that, Sable is pretty heavily pigmented though and I found it a bit tough to blend much at all but I imagine it would be ok for setting eye liner. Some of the shades had a filmy powder overtop when I first used them which made the colors uneven, I don't know if that is because of the formula being "Vegan" but I have had similar problems with other "Clean" formulas before so I can't knock this palette for that personally. Overall, if you prefer a Vegan based formula then this might actually be a decent value, regardless of your opinion on the creator of the brand. The packaging is sturdy and has a full mirror inside which I do like, and it's very similar to Makeup by Mario packaging in my opinion. I didn't love every color, but a majority of them I would use. My favorite is nude — you can swipe and blend quickly for a bit of dimension on your eye. The shadows are pretty powdery so they have a lot of kick back when you tap into the pan with a brush. I also found them slightly hard to blend because they are pigmented and like to stick in the place you first tapped them on. I don't think the quality is necessarily bad, I think I've just become a bit spoiled by using my Natasha Denona Bronze palette regularly. I would probably put this on the same level as Colourpop in terms of quality. The colors in the palette go together well and are definitely my everyday type shades, but I personally need a shimmer. I only used the eyeshadows with eye primer because I have oily lids and I think they held up pretty well, but I can't speak to how they perform without a primer. Overall, I found this palette to be pretty average. It's not great but it's not horrible. I think that it's overpriced, but if you're a Kylie fan you might love it.
