Yes, I was in shock and even cried. He was supposed to cut off 3 to 4 inches, he cut off almost 13. Anyway, my hair was left so short that I really couldn't use my flat iron everywhere. I have slightly wavy hair that's super easy to straighten or curl. Like beach type waves. So I decided to try this. It heats up really fast. It takes maybe 5 minutes to straighten my hair. However, the best part is since it is a comb, I just just do the motion like I would brush and I get volume. So I get the straight look without that flat ironed look. Super easy to add more or less volume. My hair has grown out about an inch and a half and it still doesn't take 5 minutes. I ran it threw my sister's long thick hair and it took me almost 15 minutes. While it doesn't have a drying feature, it does make easy work of straightening. You have to take small sections of hair and keep ahold of the ends as you glide it through your hair. If you do this it will only take one or two passes. Very little frizz.
