I've been using natural salt crystal deo for like a decade and in the last couple of years, my pits have gotten really dark. I asked my derm about it and she said it's largely due to irritation. I live in NC where humidity and sweat are just part of life for most of the year, so it's no wonder I had so much irritation and discoloring. I tried all kinds of creams, toners, etc. to help ease the irritation and hopefully also the dark skin, but nothing made any difference or even made it worse. I liked the salt crystal because it always tackled BO like a champ, but the first time I tried the Glow Deo, I could tell the moisturizers in it would really help. And I was right. I've been using it for no joke two weeks and I'm already seeing the darkness fade. Any irritation is gone. The temps have been solidly in the mid-90s for all of those two weeks too. No irritation, no sweaty pits, and it smells amazing. I actually like putting it on before bed too because the lavender scent is so relaxing and I think of it as a little wind down pit mask. Someone actually told me I smell good the other day after a super sweaty workout and it was 100% because of this deodorant. Half the product fell on the floor when I tried to apply it for the first time not knowing how soft it is. How did anyone NOT notice this in product development lol! I use megababe sunny pits during the day and put this on at night and within 2ish weeks have noticed a significant improvement in my pit discoloration. I don't think this is needed as a long term product or an every day deodorant, but it worked way better than the cortisone my derm prescribed me. Unfortunately, it isn't my favorite. Scent is amazing and it's soothing to the pits, but it melts on the skin and applies way too much. My dermatologist only recommended using hydrocortisone cream and that didn't help either. However within a week of using this - just a light swipe on the affected areas after my shower at night - and I have seen an incredible improvement - I practically have armpit model pits now! The lavender scent is also a nice bit of aromatherapy at bedtime too.
