I ended up having to get a haircut every 3 months to cut off all the dead hair. after 4 haircuts and chopping about 11inches of hair over the last year, I finally got all the damage out. but my curls were still struggling because they had been weighed down for so long by the dead hair. I got devacurl products that worked wonders on making it the right texture again, but my curls would fall flat super easily. I decided to try to do a hair mask that could hydrate and picked this one up. literally a game changer. after ONE use my hair is 90% back to how it used to be a year ago. I have missed my curls more than I ever knew I could and will definitely continue using this product to hydrate them back to life!!Most Helpful Critical ReviewMethol is pretty strong on the scalpThe feel it gave my hair after using was pretty good, but it made my hair smell minty, and I couldn't leave on the whole 10 minutes because the menthol was overwhelming and it burned. I have sensitive skin and this product doesnt irritate my scalp and it smells beautiful. I have wavy medium length hair up to my shoulders and it doesnt make my hair feel heavy or tacky. I also dont usually brush or comb ny hair while its wet because I've experienced hair loss while brushing my hair wet, but this time in the shower, i was able to brush my hair with my fingers without a problem! No knots or tangles and its so soft. I left it in for around 7 minutes and im so happy with it. My curls were just perfectly formed it smells anazing. I love that its clean and has alna exact inside of it. I noticed a big difference when i had use it and started styling my hair.
