The best thing is that it gets a rating of a 2 on the Environmental Working Group, ewg.org website. I love using cleaner safe products. This mascara performs so well that it doesn't smudge or flake at all and washes off easily. I only use fragrance free, BHT free products and this one fits the bill. I wish all your cosmetics rated like this one!Most Helpful Critical ReviewDisgusting clumpy messI love push up falsies so they got me with their surreal commercials. This tube has been open two days and it's disgusting. I have a video that shows it better but I'm not uploading it to YouTube just to be able to submit it. After inserting and removing the wand it pulls a bunch of mascara out with the wand, and I wipe the wand on the tube and almost all the mascara comes right off the wand. Application is all clumping goo just like the clumping goo in the photos. Maybe I got a bad tube ….but it's not something I'm going to waste my money on again. Very very disappointing. I received this product from Maybelline and Influenster in exchange, for my honest review. This mascara was easy to apply. It did not clump during application and two coats was perfect. The color was perfect and it absolutely made my lashes look long and defined. While not quite false, they looked really good! The mascara did not flake, and I wore it from 6 o'clock in the morning all the way until bedtime at 10 PM without a single flake. It was easy to remove using micellar water. I didn't have to tug or pull on my lashes or wipe really hard to remove. I have very sensitive eyes and this product did not make my eyes itch or burn or irritate them in any way. This was a great mascara from application to removal and it looked great all day. I am impressed with this product! I chose to apply on uncurled lashes, showing the difference between coats 1 and 2. I love how dramatically different each coat is, so depending on the mood you can tone it down or turn it up. I do get a small bit of transfer on my lower lashes, but I dont mind. After about 5 hours, and really looking, I could see very small specs of fallout. It also stays put and does not run. Let me first start off by saying that I am very picky about my mascara. For a mascara to work for me it needs to be thickening, lengthening, and doesn't flake. This mascara delivers in all three of these areas. The wand is fluffy so it grabs a lot of product to deposit on my lashes. The mascara goes on thick but it's not clumpy. I am impressed with how thick and long this makes my top lashes. The meta black color gives my lashes definition without being too dark for my fair/medium complexion. I can wear it all day without any flaking! Once it goes on it stays on but can be removed easily with basic makeup remover. The only thing that I would caution is that due to the wand size it is a bit hard to maneuver on my bottom lashes. This is something that typically comes with any thickening/lengthening mascara so its a trade off that I am willing to make for longer/thicker top lashes.
