This worked and helped my makeup to hold up. First let me explain how I used this. It's not one spray the let dry and go. Living where summers are hot it several sprays abd let dry. I use it after I first powder my face. After bronzer after bkush and highlighter. Then 3 more times after makeup is done. I found living in a place where humidity is awful this is what works to hold up my makeup. Pacifica use to have an amazing setting spray ( cherry matte)that I used this way too. It plays with makeup fairly well, although I don't wear full coverage, only skin tints. However, if I apply a generous coat when doing my skincare, it stings my eyes even though I close them when spraying it. I haven't had this happen with any other face mist- even ones with tons of fragrence/dye like Mario Badescu. I've been having to spray it in my hands and apply it like a toner, which defeats the purpose. You're better off just powdering or blotting. However, sometimes I overdo it with the powder trying to mattify my foundation, and using this when I accidentally do that is a great way to add lightweight moisture back into my skin, with some nice other skincare ingredients as well.
